it is generally believed that pain "signals problems", is a kind of fuse. In some cases this is true, for example with fractures, but in most cases it does not work.

2 examples


A person has a headache, but this cannot help him in any way. He's still not going to poke around in the brain.

There was pain in the joints. The man strengthened the joints with physical exercises, and they stopped hurting. Where are the pain receptors and why they stop work?


So pain has no purpose. Then where did it come from and why?
