Stupid saying, and empirically false.
How? Do you know what behaviors I'm talking about?
.
"the two ends of the spectrum can be very similar in their behaviors"
{A
spectrum (plural
spectra or
spectrums)
[1] is a condition that is not limited to a specific set of values but can vary, without steps, across a
continuum. The word was first used scientifically in
optics to describe the
rainbow of colors in
visible light after passing through a
prism. As scientific understanding of light advanced, it came to apply to the entire
electromagnetic spectrum.}
Spectrum - Wikipedia
The NATURE of a spectrum is that of a continuum that traverses from one end to another, increasing the differentiation of elements as the gap widens.
Your statement is oxymoronic.
I guess that would make you the only person on the planet who doesn't understand what I mean by "spectrum".
So anyway, is there anything else about my post that was wrong, your semantic games notwithstanding?
.
Where you are confused is in your belief in the big lie.
We have a political ideology that places absolute control over the means of production with the state, imposes rigid controls on speech, thought, and actions. A staunch authoritarian system where the collective is placed ahead of the individual and individual rights are subverted to the collective as represented by the ruling elite.
The above defines both Nazism and Communism as there is not a whit of difference between the two, yet the big lie holds that Nazism is "right wing."
{All this was inspired by the principle—which is quite true within itself—that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods.
It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.} - Adolf Hitler
The big lie says that these political philosophies are at opposite ends of the spectrum, though the facts absolutely prove this to be false, those who were lied to by academia for over a half-century cling to the lie even knowing it to be false.
