In addition to making health care affordable wealth relieves one of many stresses relating to money.

Which actually begs an interesting question. Because the rich are generally older than the general population
are the rich older because they are rich, or are they rich because they are older?

We benefit from being in a stronger gene pool and are able to easily defend ourselves because riff raff are hopeless at climbing electrified fences and avoiding starving mastiff guard dogs.

Which also develops our sense of humour and relieves any vestiges of anxiety we might have .

Nothing worse than smelly peasants beating at your back door

What do you define as rich?

The rich generally have more healthy habits, both body and mind wise....That's why they're rich.

An often-ignore fact of retired life is that regardless of your general health, you have limited number of years of generally good health before your state of decrepitude reaches the point where you cannot have fun any more. No more cruises or interesting vacations, no more golf, no more playing with the grandkids. You are just too infirm to do that stuff. Your life becomes nothing more than eating, sleeping, watching the telly and bouncing from one doctor's appointment to the next.

Live for the moment.

And, flaunt it if you got it.

Where is the double title? Send a PM, and I'll fix it.

Prosperity provides access to more options.

However, having the discipline to maintain healthy living habits while enjoying the good life, and access to anything, separates the longevity minded thinkers from "the others"

At least that's what I've observed in my 70 something years of life.

True. Discipline is key.

As long as we keep voting for the wealthy the first sentence will hold strong.
