The governments have done such an incredibly bad job all over the world with this pandemic --- making it all much worse, not better! that they are going to lose their legitimacy to govern. Trump, who was believed to be a shoo-in for re-election -- that economy!! -- just lost, the first of many perhaps.

The West wants to be more like the East. This requires central control by governments. What's worse, our government tells us "you aren't doing enough" when the pandemic spreads, even as people lose their homes, their careers and businesses and have followed all the commands.

The same "leaders" don't hold the Communist government of Chinas feet to the fire, nor, demand a thorough investigation. This not only has citizens outraged and resentful, but, it opens the door for more such occurrences in the future.

Living through what I've lived through in Canada, I'm starting to wonder if maybe my anger at China is misguided and I should be more disgusted at Canadian policing and the poor politicians they prop up.

Oh, mandatory vaccination is coming. They have been so successful making stores and businesses be the enforcers so far that they'll find a way to require you to show proof of vaccination before you can get into the grocery store or pharmacy -------- you know they already do that with the ineffective masks.

I've thought about it from the standpoint of the most selfish. People like Bloomberg and others of his high wealth who have too many billions to count. What gives them motivation? Making the next billion? Gambling a few million at the casino or buying a new yacht? Chasing high class skirts in the plush part of town, or simply buying a lady of leisure for the night?

Maybe none of it. Maybe now it's a challenge of "how can I basically play God through control of governments and policies". Which in turn can turn to more control of citizens.

Yes, envy might be the right word. Envy for the power and blind, unfettered admiration. They go to China, see the remnants of basically a Monarchy through the Communist Party and they feel they are owed that, due to their great wealth and "contributions" (however little tangle value they have created for Mankind). They want to sit on a throne. Which they will share with other billionaires and massive corporations who have lost sight of capitalism and the fact that competition and liberty make it work.

The Lockdowns is a means towards a move to Global Government and abolishing of The Dollar and forcing America in to the 666 Cashless Economy and they inherently know this, because this is what they have been working for decades. Their European counterparts for some reason are opposing Globalist Fascism.

I just can't say the word "liberal" for your reason --- I say leftist, leftwing. Same with "gay." There are "woke" leftist words ("transgender" is another; I use transvestite for that deviation) that I just can't say and I've learned that's important to me, and to find a workaround. Words make things real, or try to, and they'll have to do all that without me.
