The reopening of countries who isolated, the virus is coming back!!

I get that you actually thought the virus would go away.
But in reality it never will. A virus never disappears. The reason for closing down was two fold.
One was to allow hospitals to be able to handle the expected cases. The only problem was that in most areas those cases never came and hospitals and staff, i.e. Doctors, nurses and others are losing their jobs.
Problems like heart attacks, cancer and other life threatening problems are not showing up at the hospitals because of fear from the virus. They have not gone away, they just are not being admitted to the hospitals.
The other reason was to allow immunity to slowly build.

Now we are faced with larger problems.
People have rent due. They are using up their savings to buy food. They are worried that the job they had may not be there.
We are seeing drastic rises in spousal and child abuse,Alcoholism, Drug use, psychological disorders.

I get that some democrats are wanting to keep things closed down for longer. They hope that the economy will be in such free fall that it can't recover by election and it will help them. They are afraid that if it does start to recover then Trump will be running on a recovering economy.
But there has to be a time when what is good for the people outweighs the good of the party.

You are 100% correct and yes we need to get the country started again....but with test. You got a president that don't believe in science, that thinks drinking bleach is a cure....

Everyone keeps pretending that we need to test. First off testing fiqures are only given for those done by hospitals and most doctors offices. It does not usually include private testing facilities. Quest diagnostics does a test for $120.00.

They seem to think that it guarantees something. All it does is say you were virus free at the moment the test was done it says nothing about the seconds to days after the test.

People don't seem to understand that these tests rely on materials that come from all over and everyone in the world is literally trying to get ahold of those same materials and same tests.

The funniest part of the whole thing is that it is democrats who claim to be educated and worship science that don't realize is actually here to stay, that testing guarantees they will not get the virus, and they don't understand how test kits are made and they are wanted by the whole world.

i could be wrong but i think this virus escaped from a lab and once it run its course it will be gone .....then again i could be wrong.... now im not saying it did not come from nature but it may have been altered for research and accidentally escaped .... the crime is in the cover up by china that allowed it to spread faster .

trump most certainly believes in the tests. He just doesn't want most people in America to be tested. The more testing that's done the higher our total of those who have contracted the disease.

Everyone in the White House is being tested daily.

Yet most Americans can't get a test.

I don't know about you, but I see a lot wrong with that picture.
