Zone1 The reason there is hatred against Jews is about numbers. Judaism is a tiny religion and group compared to their enemies.

Nope….a myth. Most of Jewish success is due to sacrificing for one’s education, working hard, and strong motivation to do well.

How do you explain how a million poor, illiterate Jews arrived on these shores 100 years ago, and almost all their children became middle class (or wealthy) professionals or business owners?

In fact, there was so much “nepotism” that Jews in NY had to move out of the area to find a place willing to hire Jews.

But leave it to a a antisemitic Christian to downplay good traits of Jews.
"But at the same time, like other immigrant groups, Jews have relied first and foremost on familial resources to adapt, survive and prosper in America."

This is what I have concluded after years of learning about Judaism. They are and remain the underdogs, contrary to some beliefs and it makes it easier for people to justify their bias against them as there are too few to debate them, and/or are educated about history.

Yes, they are the dominant military and economic power compared to the Palestinians, it is to their credit, due to their own effort and focus. The reality is that they are a tiny nation, with a tiny population, even worldwide as a religion, they are less than 20M people. Think about that . Islam has over 1 BILLION people, many of them taught to hate the Jews and most of them (outside of Indonesia) are in their neighbourhood. Even Christianity which is far more pro-Jewish than any other religion outside of Judaism has over 1 Billion people (at least in the loose definition of what is defined as a Christian).

The truth is that all that is good in the world, across all of humanity, is due to the Torah. In essence, all of what is good in the world has its origins in Judaism and it's genesis (pardon the pun) is the Jews. We now embraced, through the rabbi Jesus, Judeo-Christian values. A significant improvement.

Someone prove me wrong about the assertions in that last paragraph. Every nation that believes in the respect of human lives, the beauty of the world and within each of our souls is due to Judaism ultimately.

No stronger assertion of this was the poll of Arabs in Jerusalem who stated in polls overwhelmingly that they would prefer Israeli rule over Arab rulers. Why would they, as practicing Muslims prefer this?

Yes, as in Christianity, there are Jews who have lost their faith, that which was important to the light upon the world. However, even those who lose faith and adherence to the bible have at their core the belief in the sanctity of life, the loyalty to fair and equal justice, the belief in morality and forgiveness.

In today’s world it's fashionable to blame the Jews for everything, especially in the region. Don't fall for that disinformation spread by enemies of the West, educate yourselves/
Actually no the hatred of the Jews stems from the portrayal of the New Testament and the need for a scapegoat to blame someone or the worlds ills and or the ones in that country to stay in power by turning away the wrath of the multitude rom them… It works in Islam and the Islamic nations as well where the “ street” is taught hate of the Jews while the state they live in has many dealings that are profitable for the rulers which they are loath to give up on…

The really interesting thing is that in the New Testament story of Judas Iscariot’s betrayal of Jesus is itself every bit as much a “myth” as are the traditional anti-Semitic nonsense about Jewish evil. The letters of the apostle Paul, which predate the Gospels, show no awareness whatsoever of the legend of Judas. Indeed, Paul reports that the resurrected Jesus appeared to the twelveapostles, as if one of them had not already been discredited.

It could easily be concluded I one is being honest that the legend of the betrayal is of post-Pauline origin. You can trace the evolution of the Judas story through the Gospels, from Mark, the earliest, where no bounty is mentioned, to John, the latest, where the perfidious disciple has become the keeper of the common purse and an embezzler to boot. So blaming the Jews and using the Judas and Judah comparison is of the lying pens of scribes that came afterwards.. Letists , Marxists denominational it’s of Christianity and Islamic as well as others all use the hatred of Jews and by extension Israel( modern takes) or Zionists to further their goals and to keep the hate going no matter what Israel or the Jews do they are bad bad people it would be comical I it wasn’t so blatant and sad…

The Forward is a far-left publication. Naturally, they’d focus on something negative rather than the fact that Jews succeeded by valuing education, striving for success, and being smart.

And naturally, you’d focus on the negative too. TWO days after Christmas!

All the Jews I knew are one or two generations removed from poverty, and succeeded due to their own efforts and admirable traits.

Just like an antisemite to be unwilling to credit Jews with anything admirable.

Nope. It was given to the Jews - and I have no idea why you are interjecting “Holy Spirit” (a Christian concept) into a discussion of Gd giving Moses the Jewish Law.

(Two days past Christmas, and the Xhristian here is already back to slapping Jews in the face.)
If you believe the Old Testament/Covenant is strictly a Jewish thing, why is it part of the Christian Bible?

It's not a state secret that Jews as a whole support mass non-white immigration into western countries in order to avoid "white supremacism" (not all... you do have conservative Jews who oppose this madness) and the herding of the native arabs into racial enclaves like Gaza, canadian.

Again, this is not top secret... any reasonably informed US or canadian citizen is aware of this fact...
Any reasonably informed person knows that there is no such thing as "Jews as a whole" in terms of political ideology.

Acts 1:12-26
New International Version

Matthias Chosen to Replace Judas

12 Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day’s walk[a] from the city. 13 When they arrived, they went upstairs to the room where they were staying. Those present were Peter, John, James and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James. 14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
15 In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty) 16 and said, “Brothers and sisters,[b] the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus. 17 He was one of our number and shared in our ministry.”
18 (With the payment he received for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. 19 Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)
20 “For,” said Peter, “it is written in the Book of Psalms:
“‘May his place be deserted;
let there be no one to dwell in it,’[c]
and,
“‘May another take his place of leadership.’[d]
21 Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus was living among us, 22 beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”
23 So they nominated two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. 24 Then they prayed, “Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen 25 to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs.” 26 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.

It only took me one generation to rise from poverty to success, and I'm not Jewish (but I am one of the 'lost sheep of the house of Israel'). I also don't have a higher education, and my job doesn't require any extraordinary skills. I'm enjoying the blessings promised to Joseph.

Modern day “Judaism” is a totally revised religion from the 4th century AD. It was when the Jews that rejected Jesus realized Christianity wasn’t going away and they had made a big mistake. So they invented the Talmud which was basically elevated the “Rabbis” and their opinions over that of the actual scripture of the Tanakh. You are not to believe the words written in the Tanakh as you read them, you aren’t intelligent enough and require a Rabbi to “interpret” it for you. Try getting a Jew to explain all the passages in the OT about the Angel of God that appears as a man and has the powers of God. They’ll do their Talmud tap dance.

You’ll note they don’t do the animals sacrifices anymore. They didn’t have anymore prophets to proclaim the messiah’s coming since the time of Jesus. They declared there would be no more prophets….who gave them that authority? They don’t follow the laws of the ancient Jews of two thousand years ago.

The whole “Judeo-Christian values” is a lie. You cannot be anti-Christ and Christian at the same time. There is a reason the vast majority of so-called Jews today embrace radical leftwing Marxist ideology. They want to destroy the Christian nations (Western nations) from the inside. This is why they support all social issues designed to weaken and destroy societies, such as open borders and mass immigration. This is why Jews run the porn industry in the West.

Make no mistake, modern day Jews are anti-Christs. It doesn’t matter how nice they are or even if they do good deeds, they still reject Jesus today knowing all we know. Which means they would had been cheering for Jesus to be crucified if they were there two thousand years ago.

That being said we still shouldn’t give up on them. Some can and do convert to Christianity.

The Spirit of God is literally in Genesis 1:2

Christians interjected that?

^^ that didn’t take long for a “Jew” to show up and call Christians “anti-Semitic”.

How can we be anti-Semitic when all of our believes are based on ancient Israelites? Christianity is every bit a “Semitic” religion as Judaism. Our Lord and Savior was Semitic in flesh, and his mother, our highest saint, a Jewish woman.

the word "anti-Semitic" was coined specifically to mean "anti-Jew." It was not a construct that meant "against anyone who calls himself a Semite".

the concept of "spirit of God" (not a very good translation) is very different from the idea of "Holy Spirit." These are 2 different phrases in Hebrew. Why combine them?

I found the article to be quite positive.

Are you suggesting the spirit of God isn’t Holy?

Also, have fun explaining the three that visit Abraham in Gen 18.

Christians invented anti-Semitism. Early Christians failed to convert large numbers of Jews to accept Jesus as the Messiah. This meant that Christianity could be viewed as a new religion if the Jews were to have their way. Christian anti-Semitism was a way of diminishing the influence of Jews and when Christians came to political power the anti-Semitism blossomed and has flourished down through the centuries. After all, it was the Jews who killed Jesus. It used to be the Romans who killed Jesus but being on good terms with one of the world's superpowers made more sense.
