I agree Benedict Donald's "Hail Mary" on Jan 6th certainly was. Thank goodness Dan Quale spoke some sense into Pence an reiterated to him that the VP has no Constitutional authority or statutory power to object to, or throw out any states certified vote.

- "Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases," said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. "Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages."

They wanted Congress to not certify without making sure the election was legitimate.
They wanted to stop the certification pending an investigation. That's what it was.
Congress certainly dropped the ball, or they were herded into doing so.
And there hasn't been any investigation much at the federal level at all.
#stopthesteal it was. That was those people. Their leader was a woman schoolteacher.
A lot of crazy stuff went down that day, too. Things that don't jibe with what I saw their intent was.
