I'd be interested to see the numbers on purple states, those that are not driven too far in one political direction or the other.
And by the way, it's easy to see that the more secular countries around the world are generally more prosperous and score higher on the happiness of their citizens.

1. We say........close the border and deport. They say, terrible, inhumane, the put so much into the economy. WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN IS------> We want globalization, and since Americans are perfectly happy being on top, or near the top of the food chain and do not want to divest their best interests, we need to import people who will listen to us.
2. We say------->time for DOGE to cut government waste and save taxpayers money to use elsewhere. They say........that is cruel, government workers are being unfairly targeted. WHAT THEY REALLY MEAN IS---------->Those plum, government, do nothing jobs house much of their constituency along with the teachers unions. The Left has promised to protect their ability to get paid for doing next to nothing, as long as they give fealty to Leftists voting ideals, and now that idea is under attack by not only Trump, but the taxpayers.
And the list goes on, and on, and on. Heck, I never even mentioned what is going on in DEMOCRATIC CHICAGO, and how a far Leftist mayor is close to being run out of town on a rail along with the teachers union. Point is-------->All leftists have is PROPAGANDA because they haven't the gonads to do anything but criticize, because if they put their alternative forward, they would be laughed out of the public square-) (And yes, that also goes for FORWARD HO-HO-HO who can't even put forth a platform except for ideas like be nice, be respectful, be a FLOOZY)

Medicaid and CHIP
General purpose fiscal assistance
Housing assistance
Elementary and secondary education
Highway transportation
Disaster relief
Child and social services
Railroad transportation
Public health
The biggest bucks go to the major cities - all blue - like Baltimore, St. Louis, Chicago, NYC, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Detroit.
And no mention of all the military bases that are in red states.
How convenient. You have been lied to so many times, yet you keep opening g wide, begging for more.

The fact is that you have repeated a right-wing talking point. California sends more money to DC than it gets back for services. So you can talk about this reduction in the quality of life, but the fact remains that California money funds a bunch of red states. Furthermore, you have had republican governors there. I believe that Arnold helped reduce whatever reduction in the quality of life that occurred.
