The REAL Reason Folks are Fleeing Honduras....

What makes you say that the immigrants are the WORST?
Because They Have Nothing Of Real Value To Offer Us As A Nation
They Aren't Fleeing Honduras
They Are Fleeing Hondurans Just Like Themselves
And They'll Vote The Same Here, As They Did There
Making Here The Same As There

In Other Words:
They'll Vote The Same As You
And You Vote The Same As All Third World Losers

I haven`t seen anyone in the caravan wearing a MAGA hat.
But You Have Seen Tijuanans
Chanting 'Trump Is Right'

The Drug Cartels own pretty much everything South of our border...............That and their gangs...........

Why people are leaving............They need to stop running and take their own countries back..........They outnumber them massively...........

In some areas of Mexico...........militias have formed and have taken the fight to the Cartels.........thrown out the police and have taken matters into their own hands..............need more like that...........to solve the real problem..............It's not the U.S. that has the problem......it is the countries down there that have the problem.

That's the ticket. WE don't need to invade. We need to find actual RESPONSIBLE leaders that can form a coalition and let the CIA/State Dept assist them in every way possible.. MAYBE targeted raids on the centers of these operations by Spec.Forces.

And not the Commie opposition that is opposing Hernandez. In fact the recent caravans were initiated by a Commy dissident opponent who had gotten exiled recently. That's a fact. That's WHY they carry the Honduran flag because they are POLITICALLY excommunicated. Can't back them. But there's got to be leaders and patriots down there that we can..

Honduran president's brother arrested in Miami on drug charges | Reuters

TEGUCIGALPA (Reuters) - The brother of Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez was arrested on Friday in the United States on drug trafficking charges, the Honduran government said on Friday.

Juan Antonio “Tony” Hernandez, a 40-year-old lawyer and former ruling party lawmaker, was arrested by U.S. authorities in Miami, the president’s office said in a statement.

The president’s brother is the latest in a string of prominent Hondurans, including three congressmen, who have been charged in the United States for involvement with drug trafficking.

“This is a heavy blow for the whole family,” the president told reporters in his hometown of Gracias, in western Honduras. “I hope the justice system gives him the room to defend himself, and as a family, we will do what we can to support him.”

Looks like the ruling "family business" is going to take a BIG HIT on their American market share..

For cripes sakes, dont dick around with refugee streams.. Work to FIX THE BASIC PROBLEM...
What they`re fleeing from is crony Capitalism, not drug gangs. Nobody is fleeing quasi-socialistic Costa Rica.

You've got to be kidding. The place is officially a "failed Narco state".. Run by a family drug cartel and a legislature that has its hand in the profits. More on that later.

But you need to check yourself if you think "they are fleeing capitalism" and solution is a Good Hefty Dose of Commie Narco-statism..

So... you want us to invade a country and do a regime change there so that people no longer want to leave the country? What's the U.S. record for success when they've done that in the past?
Intervention only on behalf of exploiting companies.
A Century of U.S. Intervention Created the Immigration Crisis

Yep. Add the misguided War on Drugs that shovels billions of American dollars into the coffers of cartels, enabling these monsters to buy guns by the shipload, and most of these countries' police and large parts of their legislatures on top of that.

... and keep up the good fight. Something must be done in the U.S. of Amnesia for this U.S.-inflicted cauldron of misery to come to an end.

We're being infiltrated by the narco Honduran Govt ITSELF. I've got a lot of questions that I better find answers for that are FAR MORE important than a failed biz deal in Moscow.

1) The 3 Honduran Legislators who were arrested in the US last year for marketing and distribution of drugs -- what's happened to them?

2) Who at INS/State are giving these crooked POS US permanent Visas? Including the BROTHER of the Prez just arrested. And WHY???

3) Since the impetus for the caravans was the exiling of the Commie drug lord competitor -- how MANY of these folks waving the Honduran Flag at our borders are commies? And how many commies are gonna get amnesty?

4) WhyTFuck is not the Trump Admin, the State Dept, the Homeland Security, The INS screaming bloody murder about this to the media and the American public? Why the silence as to magnitude of how the Honduran state cartel has INFILTRATED America?

If none of that CAN be answered, then there is a conspiracy afoot. I can not imagine a single reason for the media blackout and US govt silence other than some form of "collusion".. There are many who suspect that deals were made with cartels to "weed out" actual terrorists and threats coming across our border to initiate violence or bring in WMDs. In exchange for "looking the other way" to some of their drug traffic. Because after all, in Mexico, the drug lords have more control over what travels thru Mexico than the govt does..

The drug traffic (as a couple members have pointed out) is TONS a day across our borders. That does not happen without some kind of arrangement.

As much as our political fundamentalists want to lay blame on the "other side" for this situation, the REAL problem is why so many people are so fucking DESPERATE to get here in the FIRST place.

But the fundamentalists don't see any short term political advantage in addressing the REAL problem, so they AVOID it and keep pointing the finger at each other.

Our fundies are killing us.
.
What solution, if any, do you offer.................hmmm
That we start addressing the core problem. I assumed that would be obvious. That would require both of our "major" parties collectively holding the leaderships of Mexico and South America responsible for the misery they have enabled & created. Offering our assistance (military, if necessary) to go after the cartels. Maybe establish a GSE to invest significantly in those countries with the backing of our military if those investments are fucked with or stolen. Make that region a massive source of low-end manufacturing and replace China with it. Kill two huge birds with one stone.

Maybe we could practice a little intellectual elasticity for a change, and start working together to solve our problems.

Let's THINK a little.

Just kidding. I'm a kidder. I know we can't do that any more.
.

A long list of failed narco states below our Southern border is a BIGGER threat to survival than anything in Afghanistan or the Mid East. The issue needs to be elevated. And it needs to be AIRED. So that intelligent discussions of the border and immigration policy can happen.

No way should we formulate opinions on caravans, or refugees until this is all public knowledge and a public PRIORITY.

The narco Prez is belligerent and isn't being berated at all for supporting the infiltration of his brother and Honduran law makers into our society to design the drug flow and marketing to our citizens.

Jesus H.

The entities you mention are not in the business of propagandizing the U.S. public to fuel anti-immigrant, anti-Honduran paranoia about "infiltration", or any such nonsense. So, the agency in charge published a press release outlining the relevant information about the case. Next, the case will go to court.

Surprisingly enough, even though it's the Trump administration, that's been done the way it should be, calmy, professionally, and without much or anything by way of a sensationalist side show.

Honduras just held a presidential election that was similar to the Hillary fiasco. The choice was JOH (Hernandez) vs. a Marxist/Socialist-style wannabe president-for-life, Salvador Nasralla, who was backed by Cuba and Venezuela.

When JOH won, there was widespread rioting, burning, and looting. Honduras has always been pro-democracy.

And like all Latin American countries, as corrupt as the day is long.

There is very little law and order South of the border. It is the old west and nothing more. Those with the guns own the gov't and kill anyone who challenges them............

To be fixed.........they have to go........or it continues.

The FIX aint accepting their refugees. The FIX is international pressure to clean their political swamp..
Actually, it's both, when people face an extant threat that they can't just "wait out".
They'll be doing their disease-ridden waiting in TJ, if the Mexicans don't slaughter them first.
Nah, they will be processed for asylum.
They have a couple of days left.

They'll be mighty sick and hungry. Plus the gangsters are taking all their food.

I'm sure they didn't expect their lives to improve much, until they got in. These are desperate people.

Yes, thank goodness people were helping them. And shame on us for acting like terrified little bitches.

So why isn't our President standing up in front of the UN demanding it?

No way I would threaten them militarily.

Why not?

International attention ought to be LASER FOCUSED on this complete failure of governance down there

Yes.....

The first step IMO is to fix the "holes" in Mexico's Southern border. If that means deploying Military to Southern Mexico so be it. We have tens of thousands of soldiers in Okinawa doing nothing but getting tattoos and eating sushi. Move them to where they will do some good.
