In my lifetime, I have never seen either party in the fragile position that democrats are facing today. Democrats really messed up bad for a decade and its difficult for me to imagine at the moment how they can bounce back. Lets look at these problems...
For decades, the left has had a multi-billion dollar propaganda machine behind them in the legacy media. The legacy media is in shambles and is currently in the process of being swallowed by independent media. No one trusts your news sources anymore. They will not save you. No one wants to hear from Hollywood anymore either. Their voices no longer carry any weight.
Democrat policies are absolutely terrible. You print trillions and then blow it on things that Americans think are retarded. You defund the police, support riots, push for "gender affirming care" for minors, you push for trans dudes in girls sports, you want to censor things that your ultra biased opinions consider "disinformation", and most of all you push that endlessly annoying DEI garbage that everyone hates.
The federal government is being gutted right now. A great purge is happening of lifelong democrats who secretly misused their power to screw over your political opponents. The deep state is being wiped out and will not be very helpful for democrats in the future. They will be terrified of either being fired by the next admin, or being indicted by the next admins DOJ. They wont screw around anymore, so that secret weapon is now no longer part of the democrat arsenal.
We are now finding that Democrats have been secretly funded by the federal government, all across the board. You funnel money to your propaganda legacy media, you funnel money into your lawfare prosecutions and lawsuits, and you funnel money into the DNC. The ActBlue scandal is going to crush democrats if it turns out to be true. Regardless, ActBlue is falling apart and that means youll lose almost a billion dollars a year in DNC funds. Also, MANY wealthy democrats who donate to the DNC are pulling out. Your money is drying up.
For YEARS the democrat party has been artificially propped up. What on Earth do democrats do now that their props no longer work? You have to actually make a real case now and have legitimately good ideas, but your party is lazy after all these years of not having to do actual work. Modern Democrats dont have good ideas and people arent buying the fake moral platitudes anymore.
Does that mean the democrat party is dead? No, but the only way you will survive is by completely throwing out ALL the beliefs that you guys have been hammering the nation with for YEARS. You just have to completely sell out your principles and pretend to not like them anymore. You also have to remove every democrat Congressman and Senator and replace them with serious people. Your batch of politicians is bonkers. Hakeem Jeffries is not a leader. Being black is not going to cut it anymore, so that charisma-less hack is never going to win a presidential race. Your current politicians suck and they are going to fail you.
Democrats have to make some massive changes or they are going to be screwed for a long time.
