The President with the worst average unemployment rate since World War II is?

As far as I understand it, the President is only responsible for keeping people employed under socialist systems.
But, until Affirmative Action for the Manifestly Inept, employment was a key metric by which Presidents have been measured.

A NEW RECORD HAS BEEN SET FOR THE LOWEST UNEMPLOYMENT IN DECADES! The Unemployment rate fell to just 3.4% in January 2023. That is the lowest unemployment rate since May 1969 when the unemployment rate was also 3.4%! You now have to go back to October 1953 to find a lower monthly unemployment rate, when the rate was 3.1% in that month.

Also, Obama rate is deceptive. He came in in the midst of a deep recession. He left with a below normal rate that was trending DOWN going into the Trump presidency.

/——/ Well, I don’t care who is president, I believe the UE rate has been rigged for decades. And, you can’t go by averages. Some on that list served two terms, some one, and JFK only served 1,000 days. Gerald Ford served about 850 days, and Nixon served less than two terms.

The number one city in the country now for lowest unemployment is Madison Wisconsin with a new Supreme Court.

Why have not conservative red cities got close to 1.8%?

Not trying?
