It is now widely believed that the Brahmans were the descendants of the Aryans. However, this contradicts all the factual material: the Aryans did not have brahmanas, in the Vedas there are no mentions of any brahmanas (except for the meaning of prayer), the Aryan clergymen were called atharvans (and the atharvaveda is just their book), during the period of brahmanism of the Vedic culture it was already not existed, and the Brahmans did not even understand the Aryan language (that is why there were many schools of grammars, they tried to decipher the Vedas).
Accordingly, the brahmanas were not Aryans, there is no doubt about that. In that case, where did they come from, what kind of people are they?
