A lot of redux going on today. People care about kitchen table issues, first and foremost, the economy and how it affects their households. Despite the fact that the economy actually has improved, it's not translating to middle class households. When Harris was asked what she would do differently from Biden she couldn't answer the question and I think that's one of the things that ended her.

Instead of focusing on the issues that really matter, she and the media were calling Trump and his supporters Nazis. Obama was shaming black men for supporting him and the party seems to think Latinos in border states don't want a secure border. Then, of course, there are the cultural issues they kept pushing. People aren't keen on seeing post pubescent men "transitioning" into "women," competing against their daughters and taking those opportunities away from them. They aren't happy about hearing about their first grader being taught that boys can be girls and vice versa if they feel like it. Latinos, black men, and college age males moved heavily towards Trump. I'm guessing they weren't thrilled about scrolling through their social media and seeing weird looking men in dresses prancing around the White House and Harris claiming how transexual inmates should have their sex changes paid for with our tax dollars. Regular Americans don't worship the Alphabet Cult the way Silicone Valley and Hollywood does.

I would also add the pro-Palestine demonstrations and riots didn't help either, especially when you see that Trump won 47% of the vote in New Jersey and 44% in New York, two states with a heavy population of Jews.

The Dems have a lot of reflection to do going forward.

Maybe a realigning of both parties is in the works and the Dem Party will finally give all factions a place in its direction and policies . The abortion amendment in Florida required a 60% threshold to pass. It achieved like 58%. While the amendment didn't pass, a clear majority of people in Florida support creating a constitutional right to abortion.

The point is that for Harris to so badly underperform an abortion rights constitutional amendment is a testament to how bad the Democrats are a politics.

When Bill and Hilly were in the Whitehouse, up to and including then, the Democrats insisted that illegal immigration would not be tolerated. In fact, Hilly made the public statement to illegals, "DO NOT COME!"

Bill Clinton passed a bill, to hire MORE police while using federal dollars. He also worked to lessen welfare.

Fast forward to today. What do the Democrats stand for in society? So you see Stormy and friends, the country has NOT moved right, it has actually moved Left; in all honesty, pretty far Left. And in all honesty, while this has all been going on, your party has been in charge for 12 of the last 16 years, and during that time, for the most part except for 2 and1/2 years a year after Trump was elected and before COVID, the economy has been PATHETIC.
