Don't see this tool being used much anymore. I have a ⅜" drive. Found this ½" at Habitat for a dollar.

Needs them for the rust.No.

I never used it much. There was a gimble ring-mounted cylinder mounted under a machine that was custom made for it. I had to break the nuts loose but that then I could reach in with that speed wrench and an extension and get them spun off easily.I have that tool but I don't use it for lug nuts.
That is not any breaker bar. AFTER you got them loose maybe it is faster and easier than re-loading every 1/2 turn.

That's what the breaker bar in the lower part of the photo was for.
Costco will rotate them for free if you buy them there. I've just resigned myself to the task. I have to swap between winter and summer tires and back on two vehicles every year so it has become old hat. I only wish I had put a lift in the shop when I built it--it may come in the future.Rotating tires at home in a CA garage was the hardest easy car work I ever found. Loosen one side, OK…not dead yet. Jack up one side (if you can squeeze in floor model long handle jack). Put in one or two jackstands, lower car. Take off two (not that easy) keeping mindful of direction/location. Now you’re dirty & hot, sweat dripping. Luckily …front to back due to arrows on tires. Put back on new spot, Tires flopping all over as you Try to hold and get lug nuts started. Yes sitting down, pantlegs legs holding tire as you reach for lugnuts. ARG! Yes, it can be hard even if you’re in good shape.
Repeat other side. By now, filthy and tired.
I stared buying 3 for $90 “the works” in 2018 at quicklane dealer. Tires rotate, oil, filter included every 5000. Winning. Just time waiting ir make APPT. No dirt on garage door to house. No blood, or cussing.
