The Official USMB Inauguration Thread - President Donald Trump #47

My understanding is it's not a requirement but rather tradition. So add another tradition trump has violated. Like the prez respecting his oath of office by not disrupting the peaceful transfer of power.
We’ve had eight years now of democrats not respecting the peaceful transfer of power through constant lawfare.

Yikes! Besides your reply being an epic fail it has actually been trump engaging in lawfare. If he hadn't the criminal trials would have proceeded last summer.

They'll believe anything they're told.
It is probably the saddest thing about this whole affair...

There are a lot of decent nice people getting caught up in the tribal thing...
They goto Church and have moral values and know Christ is about looking after the most vulnerable in our society... Their is stories by Jesus about how to treat foreigner who are strange to you and make you feel uncomfortable. Jesus told us how about not only obligation to look after the poor but our sense of duty to do so...

The present MAGA would call Jesus a Socialist without a question of a doubt and follow Trump... Trump plays into there sense of tribalism, protection from others...

It was a pretty simple idea. Take a bunch of people who have something even if quite small and then create a fear of others taking it from them... Segregate them from your life, Vilify them, Create fear and then proclaim that they are the only one that can protect them from these.

Jesus taught us to get to know them because it is a lot harder to hate people you know...

If Christians did turn to the Lord they could see the answer to this hate. It is not easy being a Christian, it involves trust where there is none, it is about reaching outside your comfort zone... It is about standing up to tribal thinking and asking what would Jesus do (what is morally right). Look at what unites us and reject people that want to divide us.

Get serious...

Just look at the evidence... Trump was charged because there was clear evidence that he broke the law...

I know that your media bubble conveniently ignored those facts...

Anyone that looked at the evidence and saw the facts was vilified by your media bubble...
The most important thing your media bubble was to do was to make sure you never look at the evidence.
IT was highly successful at doing that.

Trump ops manual is to accuse someone of doing something that you are just about to do...

He accuses others of using the DOJ as a weapon with absolutely no proof.. He then uses that as a reason to do himself.

BTW, most of the rest of the world still can't figure out why he is not in prison... He clearly broke the law numerous times, we even heard the tape recording...

Here is the former leader of France getting 4 year sentence for campaign contributions violations.

It happens...

The American judicial system looks very compromised after how favourable treatment Trump received.. He was afforded delay and delay by biased judges... Judges in other countries make descisions that follow the law not as a political manoeuvring to get a promotion...

Trump was charged because Democrats were using lawfare against him, which backfired spectacularly, re-electing Trump because voters weren't blind as to what Democrats were doing to Trump.

The problem you face is that the democrats overreached when they went after him. They thought everyone in the nation agreed with them and would back their irrational, rabid hate, but the reality is, most people looked at the charges and wondered why they were supposed to hate TRUMP! so much that creating crimes out of a loan that was paid back in full and on time (IOW, no victim) was acceptable.

Then get off your ass. You saying someone else has to post it does not credit you at all. Get off your ass, go look, and come apologize for being an ass.
The number of times they've had to back up Trump and his confederates with "well, that's not what he REALLY meant" has to be in the thousands by now.

The problem you face is that the democrats overreached when they went after him.
Grand juries indicted him for the crimes he committed. The publicly available evidence of trump's guilt, provided in Jack Smith's indictments, is overwhelming. Not prosecuting him after those indictments were voted on would have been a dereliction of duty and an abdication of responsibility to uphold the law.

You missed this part of my post. This is vital for understanding why the nation looked and said, "Overreach".
