Although the NRA had not a thing to do with the horrible shooting of school children in Florida, a number of corporations have withdrawn their association with the NRA, no longer offering their discounts to NRA members.

As is so often the case with Liberal-associated decisions, there is no association with realty in these decisions.
In it, we see the usual collectivist actions of the Left.

The Left has boycotts, walk-outs, marches, organized riots, etc….while we on the Right are more individualistic, and so appear smaller in number. The Left has the sort of noise machine that the Right can’t match.

But the NRA sent out a letter that represents Americanism, that Leftists eschew.

1. Start by trying to control what people say and think…target any who stray from the orthodoxy…get them fired from their jobs…ridicule them...make sure everybody was afraid to disagree.

2. Work to disarm the population…take their guns away, so they’d be entirely dependent on government for their safety….and unable to resist any unpopular government

3. ... systematically target any institution that oppose your power: churches, the family, and independent businesses, using laws and relentless propaganda

4. And, if elections still didn’t go your way…you’d use an entrenched, unelected bureaucracy to neuter any leader you hadn’t hand-picked

5. And, to make sure it didn’t happen again, you’d work tirelessly to replacd the old and recalcitrant population with a new and more obedient….dependent….one.

6. Hence, the speech codes, the calls for gun control, the relentless attacks on the nuclear family and demands for unlimited mass immigration and none of it is to the benefit of American citizens.

7. It is to make you more and more dependent

Dicks, Major Gun Retailer, Will Stop Selling Assault-Style Rifles

One of the nation’s largest sports retailers, Dick’s Sporting Goods, said Wednesday morning it was immediately ending sales of all assault-style rifles in its stores.

The retailer also said that it would no longer sell high-capacity magazines and that it would not sell any gun to anyone under 21 years of age, regardless of local laws.

The announcement, made two weeks after the school shooting in Parkland, Fla., that killed 17 students and staff members, is one of the strongest stances taken by corporate America in the national gun debate. It also carries symbolic weight, coming from a prominent national gunseller.

Late last week, after coming under attack on social media for their ties to the National Rifle Association, a number of major companies, including Hertz car rental, MetLife insurance and Delta Air Lines, publicly ended those relationships, issuing brief, carefully phrased statements.

And what does that have to do with this?


Since there is no connection, in any way or degree, with the massacre at the Florida school......one begins to wonder why Democrats/Liberals would not acknowledge two simple changes that would, essentially, end mass shooting.

Restrict the use of and the prescribing of psychotropic drugs.



Neither the NRA nor the AR-15 are the cause of such shootings

The Florida shooter bought a gun at Dick's. There is a connection.

One would hope that you had a modicum of synaptic connection.


Let's remediate your view:

No matter the type of gun, nor the source.....it will never be the solution to mass shootings.

Many nations with far stricter regulations have comparable and worse massacres.

All the talk about guns is to give simpletons....you.....their marching orders: end the second amendment.

Except Dick's would now no longer sell a high school student an AR15 style weapon. That is the connection, well, along with the fact that they actually did sell the Parkland shooter a weapon.
