The NFL Should Be Embarrassed of Themselves

It's called being a fan... it's one of the fundamental principles of being a society, and that is enjoying a form of entertainment.
Nope ....I voiced my opinion and you called me a troll, the truest sign of a person with no self worth. Sorry your team lost but try being a big boy

I called you a troll because you came here to voice your opinion about me and the game without seeing the game. That's indicative of a troll. Especially one that posts a gif of Knowshown Moreno crying during the national anthem.
Not only did your team lose .....very badly I might add, but you are losing the argument in this thread..

Try punching a pillow.

Badly? By 8 points, on the road, in Pittsburgh? Are you high? Do you actually know anything about football?
Now you have just made Papa's argument which I agree with. It was not the officiating it was to poor play and inability of your team.

It was my pleasure to help you see the light.

Uh, nice try on trying to create a straw man argument, but the fact is, they didn't lose "badly," and in fact I would argue they didn't even lose, they got beat, by the refs. Funny how the only other person to have watched the game that replied to this thread, agrees with me. Coincidence? Nope.

You are the loon who created the straw man argument.

You team lost the damn game not the refs.

Unfortunately you also didn't see the game...so that also makes you ignorant.
I see you reaction and that is enough. Totally ineffectual person who needs to rely on the actions of other men

It's called being a fan... it's one of the fundamental principles of being a society, and that is enjoying a form of entertainment.

Thanks for admitting you are to biased to be rational.

How is that irrational? The Bengals defense played great. Andy Dalton played sub-par, but put up great stats. The run game suffered because Bodine sucks and they were constantly trying to get out of a bad field position battle. YOU bring up one bad aspect of the game for the Bengals and say they should have lost the game because of that and it had nothing to do with the refs and the bad calls. Now who is being irrational there?

You said you are a fan, which is short for fanatic. Fanatics are biased and irrational. The refs are not the reason you lost, you lost because the Steelers played better. You are a fan and a crybaby. They came out and let the Steelers have an 17-6 lead. Tough to rally when you let yourself get down that far.

They "let" the Steelers get a 17-6 lead? Once again, coming from someone that didn't watch the game. The Steelers got away with multiple non-called holding penalties that allowed them to continue drives. Look at the numbers. The Steelers out rushed the Bengals, but the Bengals defense actually held Williams to 2.9 yards per carry. The Bengals held Ben under 300 yards passing, and Antonio Brown to 39 yards receiving. These are the same Steelers that are supposed to average 30+ points per game. The game was 10-6 at half time despite how bad the officiating was. You are so stuck on 17-6 and the total rushing yards, and ignoring everything else about the game.

You didn't watch the game

You have absolutely no knowledge of what happened other than what you read in the media which isn't going to tell you shit about the game because they aren't going to openly criticize the cash cow NFL that feeds them.

Well, you have not convinced me of anything. I have been reading and and even the Cincinnati press isn't as big of a homer as you. I looked over the play and it seemed like a bad call but again the refs didn't make or break the game and no other objective reporter sees it as a biased Cincy fan does.

I am by far and away NOT a homer. :bye1: I'm a member of a couple of Bengals forums, and I call it like I see them, period. You must not be looking at same sites as me, and if you would have watched the game, which you didn't... you would have seen even Dan Fouts, who is a Bengal hater, even said how bad the calls were during the game.

try this one, which shows many of the plays, and quotes several people.

Yes, if you go to one of those pages it lists tweets from various NFL personalities and reporters, and one from former head of officiating Mike Pereira who said he would have ruled it not a fumble on Boyd. I also said that one of the pages showed gifs of some of the plays in question. Just because the gifs are on a fan's forum doesn't change the plays and what happened, neither does it change what people outside of the forum said on twitter.

Anything I say, you are going to say it is biased, or point that the Bengals only had 46 yards rushing. I can't have any type of intelligent conversation with you. It's like trying to discuss the current affairs in sports with the old man sitting on the bench in front of the drug store. You hear or read one or two things and all of a sudden you think you know how the universe was created.

Good then don't. They didn't score more than Pittsburgh, you lost and that won't change, I don't think the refs win or lose my team's games, why would I think different about your team. They lost, it goes in the loss column and if they miss they playoffs by one game you will forever cry about this one game. I have read several articles about the game. They reference the one call, many said both teams played poorly. You are 1-1, all your whining isn't going to change that. You have said nothing, not one thing to change my mind that the refs threw the game or caused your precious Bengals to lose, and I hate the Steelers. Grow up and quit thinking your opinion is superior to everyone else's. You prove you are a homer.

My opinion will forever be better than yours on this game... because YOU DIDN'T WATCH THE GAME. You are once again following another logical fallacy, media bias. You are basing your opinion of how the game was reffed based off what you are reading in the media? Are you that blind, deaf, and dumb not to see how illogical your reasoning is? Do you not see the common thing here? People who actually watched the game say the Bengals got screwed, those who didn't watch the game sit back and call all the Bengals fans cry babies, and that the Bengals should just "play better."

You can call me a homer all you want, but I have logic on my side, and I'm not dumb enough to go judging other people's opinions based off just second hand information.

Every freakin games have bad calls, good teams rise above, I guess you don't think the Bengals are a good team. If you have nothing else to add we will need to agree to disagree.

Do you really not see the logical fallacy in your argument? :alcoholic:

So you have nothing else to add. Then we will have to disagree.

Good glad that you consider your opinion superior than mine. Last night I sat down and watched the game, poorly played, the call was terrible. I saw a lot of offensive holding, both sides of the ball, I do think Pittsburgh held a lot more, the refs favored Pittsburgh. Not enough to change the outcome. Damn, I wasted my time watching the replay. I'm more concerned about the Raiders and their defense sucking.
