Our “form of government” is spelled out in our Constitution. And it doesn’t say diddly shit about a filibuster.

There may be some valid circumstances for making use of a filibuster. But it was never intended to simply be used to deny the elected majority from proceeding with the policies they campaigned on; and certainly not to prevent the Senate majority from passing a budget.
