OK I have some questions for you brilliant liberals on the board.

Barack Obama just appointed Timothy Geithner to the position of Secretary of the Treasury. For the past five years Geithner has been president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He was the lead regulator of most of the banks that have so spectacularly screwed up the credit system. It was his job to prevent what just happened!

First question: Why would the smartest man in the world promote a man who so completely failed at his previous job to the position of Secretary of the Treasury?

It is now Geithner's job to oversee the IRS as well. The same IRS that he owed $50,000 in back taxes over a period of years!

Second question: Isn't that like putting the animals in charge of the zoo so they can feed the visitors to the crocodiles?

Barack Obama just admitted, "I screwed up" when referring to the Tom Daschle nomination because he owed $120,000 in back taxes.

Third question: Does the smartest man in the world fail to realize how this makes him look like a complete moron? Why does Geithner skate while Daschle gets the boot of shame?

Please, all of you smart, intelligent, brilliant, genius liberals - one of you please explain to me how the Obama quote "I screwed up!" won't become the motto for this administration?

This is a bit off topic, but I want to get it on the record. Barack Obama idolizes George Bush in this video in an attempt to justfy his pork stimulus bill. Apparently in Barack Obama's lefty dream world government spending of any kind stimulates the economy. I don't even think Bush ever said this even though he was a big government spender. But Obama thinks it is so obvious that he jokes about it. He thinks it is funny that anyone might not agree with him.

So why stop at one trillion dollars? Why not REALLY stimulate the economy and spend two trillion dollars?

Hell, why not stimulate the whole world's economy and spend ten trillion dollars?!?
