The mountain of evidence gets a little higher.

Many election administrators and officials have pointed to the fact that unprecedented turnout in2020 stress-tested our elections system. Still, around 40% of the eligible population did not cast a vote. For a robust democracy, we must invest in and build a system that can withstand ever greater turnout in future elections. In order to do this, this Committee undertook the foundational work of investigating the 2020 election— from both the perspective of election administrators, officials and workers and the perspective of the observing public.

The Committee embarked upon hours of public testimony, the review of countless documents and presentations on the 2020 election, and careful review of the elections process itself. This Committee found no evidence of widespread or systematic fraud in Michigan’s prosecution of the 2020 election. However, we cannot and should not overlook severe weaknesses in our elections system. Whether it is lack of clarity in the tabulation of ballots, unnecessary barriers to ensuring that every lawfully cast ballot is counted, inconsistent poll worker or challenger training, or simply a system not primarily designed to handle ballots cast absentee or otherwise prior to Election Day, it is the opinion of this Committee that the Legislature has a duty to make statutory improvements to our elections system.

This Committee exhausted every resource available to it to thoroughly and faithfully examine our elections process in Michigan and drill down on claims and testimony specific to the 2020 election. However, this investigation should not be considered exhaustive. Remaining conscientious of the limitations of this Committee, every possible investigative avenue was not undertaken. Nevertheless, this Committee stands steadfastly behind the recommendation that our current elections system requires change in order to meet the future challenges presented by modern voting preferences, behaviors, and threats. There are clear weaknesses in our elections system that require legislative remedy.

Um in Georgia they have acknowledged they can't account for 1000's of ballots. In the steal counties none of the recounts came up with anywhere close to the same totals and in some they never recounted physical ballots. Democrats are fighting against protections to prevent illegals from registering to vote. Why? Democrats claim voter ID laws disenfranchise minorities, yet they provide no evidence of their claim.
Mail-in ballots should use a stricter signature match, yet democrats want no signature match. Why, and don't give me some BS about people have different signatures or signing on pad is different than using a pen.
Mail-in ballots should have to be received by the closing of the polls on election day, yet democrats want weeks after. Why?

More like kicking a moron while they are down.

That you think reading 400 words is akin to a 700 level course shows that you likely did not even finish high school.
You said you beat me and bid me adieu 45 minutes ago. But you're still mesmerized by me! :laugh2:

Pure BS spin in this one:

Signature Verification Process
The Committee was made aware of claims that election workers at the TCF Center in downtown Detroit were instructed to not match signatures on envelopes and furthermore were instructed to “pre-date” the received date of absentee ballots. To the contrary, these processing steps — signature matching and verification of the date received — occurred at another location and were completed by other employees prior to the time the ballots were sent to the TCF Center for counting. Workers at the AVCBs are to check for the clerk’s signature and time stamp as well as making sure the voter signature is present. However, the validation of the voter signature by the clerk’s office is indicated by the clerk’s signature and stamp. As for the “pre-dating” allegation, Detroit Senior Election Advisor Chris Thomas explained this date field is necessary for processing the ballot. Without the voter present, there is no way to have that date, which was recorded into the QVF by the official who took the same day registration at another location. Since the poll books at the AVCB are not connected to the QVF during Election Day, there is no way to check what was entered at the site where the voter registered. Therefore, a “placeholder” date is entered, and the poll worker assumes the official accepting the registration did their due diligence.
Kent County Clerk Lisa Lyons, and Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum, both testified regarding the possible requirement of a “real time” signature when applying for an absentee ballot, indicating it would be highly preferred rather than performing the application process online. In addition to the preferences of election officials, the Michigan Court of Claims struck down Secretary of State Benson’s guidance on signature matching, which required workers to presume the validity of signatures, ruling that the required presumption of validity is found nowhere in state law and mandating such was a direct violation of the Administrative Procedures Act.
After reviewing these facts and receiving the testimony of experts and clerks, it is abundantly clear that the signature verification process is one of significant importance. With new policies in place due to the adoption of Proposal 18-3, current election procedures do not require a new voter to, potentially, ever make face-to-face contact with an election official or staff throughout the process of registration, requesting an absentee ballot application, or completing and submitting their ballot. Therefore, requiring a voter to confirm their identity at some point during the process is imperative. Whether providing a “real time” signature, a government-issued photo identification card, or other unique personally identifying information, like a driver’s license number or a state identification number, requesting that a voter provide one of these easily-accessible identifiers will go a long way to strengthen the integrity of our system, while supporting the new, more efficient way of administering our elections.
Therefore, the Committee recommends that the secretary of state begin the process of establishing actual rules for examining and validating signatures consistent with a ruling of the Michigan Court of Claims. The Committee also recommends that statewide measures be put in place to ensure eligible voters are not unreasonably denied access to vote if there is an issue with their signature. Finally, the Committee recommends that reasonable measures be put in place to ensure voters can easily and properly identify themselves when exercising their right to vote.

****so now they recommended they do signature review? You can register online with nothing?
Do you know what's wrong in your post just about everything ... when ballots are received every ballot is looked at to confirm they did everything right ... they are picked up in a ballot box to be sure they are not dumping ballots ...when they are being placed into the voting machine to be counted, when this happens a republican is standing there with his Democrat pole watcher ...so no funny business happens so you are wrong there... this is what it offers

here is your second mistake.... all mail-in ballots are sent to the voter because they have already come in to register to vote ... the only way you can get a mail-in ballot is if you are a valid voter already registered ...that's why they don't have to come in ... no mail-in ballot gets sent unless you are already a registered voter ... another mistake you made

  • Allow clerks in municipalities with at least 5,000 people to process and count absentee ballots eight days before Election Day
  • Implement at least nine consecutive days of early voting for statewide elections
  • Require each municipality in Michigan to have at least one accessible absent voter drop box and one for every 15,000 registered voters in the municipality
  • Provide prepaid postage on absentee ballots
  • Expand permissible options for photo identity used in voting
  • Launch an absentee ballot tracking system for voters
  • Create a single application for voters to automatically receive absent voter ballots for all future elections
  • Make disclosing an election result from an early voting site before Election Day a felony with a maximum five-year prison sentence
  • Increase the number of active registered voters in a single election precinct from 2,999 to 5,000 active registered voters
this is what is stated not your bullshit story ...

Bottom line: The Committee embarked upon hours of public testimony, the review of countless documents and presentations on the 2020 election, and careful review of the elections process itself. This Committee found no evidence of widespread or systematic fraud in Michigan’s prosecution of the 2020 election.

Do they give a definition of widespread or systematic fraud?

Michigan Republicans Debunk Voter Fraud Claims in Unsparing Report

A committee led by Michigan Republicans on Wednesday published an extraordinary debunking of voter fraud claims in the state, delivering a comprehensive rebuke to a litany of accusations about improprieties in the 2020 election and its aftermath.

The 55-page report, produced by a Michigan State Senate committee of three Republicans and one Democrat, is a systematic rebuttal to an array of false claims about the election from supporters of former President Donald J. Trump. The authors focus overwhelmingly on Michigan, but they also expose lies perpetuated about the vote-counting process in Georgia.

The report is unsparing in its criticism of those who have promoted false theories about the election. It debunks claims from Trump allies including Mike Lindell, the chief executive of MyPillow; Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former president’s lawyer; and Mr. Trump himself.

The belief Trump won the election is the lynchpin on which his candidacy depends. His supporters have internalized his fabricated grievance against "the rigged system." He claims the presidency was taken from him so they experience the powerful emotion that something was taken from them. It wasn't. Getting folks to believe it was, to borrow a phrase, is an essential falsehood. The essential utility of Trump's falsehoods.

The report from MI Repubs puts another stake in the heart of the Big Lie. It is conclusive evidence the voter fraud allegation is a con. I am not waiting for his following to have an epiphany on this matter. They are too invested in it. They need to be invested in it. Without it, all they have left is the recognition Don is a bloviating huckster controlling the smoke and mirrors from behind the curtain.
there is video evidence of vote fraud in Georgia, Penn, and Wisc. why is that being withheld form public view? if its fake, as you claim, put it out there and make the GOP look foolish, but you won't and that says a lot.

Many of us watched when they kicked out poll watchers and blocked windows. In Georgia it's on video where they told poll watcher to go home and started counting in the middle of the night.

When you vote in person you told to turn off your phone because you can't take a picture of your ballot. Why? I've been told it's to prevent people from selling votes. Okay that makes sense. So what's the protection for mail-in ballots not being sold?

you can APPLY to be registered with nothing, any where and every where. The internet is no different.

the election office then verifies your sworn to be a truthful registration application through State and Federal files they have access to, BEFORE approving or denying you as a registered voter and adding you to their State voter roll....

like I said in a previous post .... all mail=in ballots are sent out by request of a registered voter... if any questions are made about the signature on the mail-in ballot it can be checked by the clerk ... you see all mail ballots have an SKU number and are number to authenticate the ballot ... for privacy reason, once the ballot is removed from their envelope the mail-in can't be check ... that is the law and they have usually done this when they receive the ballot by the people who take the mail-in ballot ... there is a republican standing there and a democrat where they receive the ballots to make sure they have been signed ... at any point in time they can have you match signature ... so again it's not required for anybody to come in to have their ballot signature authorized... why ??? they already have it on your registration form on file .. they don't need to do it twice ...

Of course they came up with those findings, would you want to be known as a state that had those issues, it serves their purpose!

Many of us watched when they kicked out poll watchers and blocked windows. In Georgia it's on video where they told poll watcher to go home and started counting in the middle of the night
The people who they kicked out were unauthorized pole watchers ... they were just people who tried to force their way in ...they had no business being there ...the actual pole watchers were there the whole time ... so you are so very wrong about pole watchers being forced out ... every voting site are has a required number of democrats and republicans on-site... they are authorized to be there ... they had people who claim to be pole watchers who are standing behind a huge window watching the ballots going through their stages to be counted ...the peoplee who you call poll watchers tried to force their selves into the area where they are counted and that is against the voting rules ....you can stand by the window but you can't come in... they were removed from the area by force... they forced themselves in where they didn't belong ... you are wrong ...why you called thsee people pole watchers is beyond me ... just because they say they are pole watchers doesn't make them authorized pole watchers ... they weren't official pole watchers get it... they were joe blow republican who lived down the road where ever forcing their way in ...

When you vote in person you told to turn off your phone because you can't take a picture of your ballot. Why? I've been told it's to prevent people from selling votes. Okay that makes sense. So what's the protection for mail-in ballots not being sold?
in my previous post which you didn't read ... here's what it said why they make you turn off your phone is because you causing havoc see you can make a copy of your ballot and send it through many times ... here's the flaw in your thinking ...there are two safeguards for this

1) every ballot is numbered ... the reason they do this is they know how many ballots are sent out ... each county sends out 500,000 ballots at the end of the day they can't have anymore the 500,000 ballot they can have less but not more ...not everybody sends in their ballot...

2) every ballot that is sent out has an SKU number on it ... only ballots with a SKU number can be counted ... once that SKU number gets through the counter that ballot can't be counted again ... that stops anybody from running a ballot through ten times to get one ballot counted 10 times ...it can't happen... the machine that counts them kicks that ballot out were it can't be counted again... if you buy a picture of a ballot to send in more ballots you are wasting your money ... it won't go through ...

15th post
BERG's morning TDS. thread, yawn.

Biden can't win, and won't drop out.
Deflect deflect deflect - thats all weak minded partisans like you can do when faced with facts you don't like.

2020 election lies are an important, historic, consequential matters.

If you can't stand to read about it then just get lost instead of posting your silly garbage.

Of course they came up with those findings, would you want to be known as a state that had those issues, it serves their purpose!
Thats just stupid. Republican's job is to win elections and to govern.

If there was any fraud that prevented Republicans from winning they would of course be rightiously shouting about it from the roof tops.

Instead we see them putting out this report about how Republicans were baselessly lying about electoral fraud.

Its getting worse by the day.
the reporters are asking better questions ... yeah you still get he's brain-dead crowd that's expected ... I bet by the end of next week the press will find that dead horse beat to death... you will start to see his pole-passing trump numbers .. They came up as of today ... its what the press does these days its expected ... I bet if Trump has another debate, which we know he won't, as he did this time Biden won't be sick and he will walk all over Trump... I would prefer a brain dead Biden over Trump any day of the week year this century ... right now if Harris runs instead of Biden shes 5 points up on Trump... oh yeh she is .. it was out this morning and if Hillary decided to run she is up 7 points ...
