And article about how bad the Taliban are (I'm not saying they're not bad) basically saying the Taliban are bad for BANNING THE PRODUCTION OF POPPIES.

Unbelievable.

First they state that poppies came to the country because of the USA supporting the Mujaheddin. Great, the first of the great times for Afghanistan.

Then they say that Afghanistan's economy will be bad if they don't produce drugs for illegal western markets.

You couldn't make this shit up. They'll literally say anything to get public opinion against the Taliban.

Again, I'm not saying they shouldn't attack the Taliban, there's plenty of stuff out there, legitimate stuff, to attack the Taliban. At the same time, there are plenty of other countries to attack, like Saudi Arabia. Oh no, wait, the Saudis are really nice because they're "allies".
