• $6 million to fund tourism in Egypt
• Hundreds of thousands of dollars for a non-profit linked to designated terrorist organizations — even AFTER an inspector general launched an investigation
• Millions to EcoHealth Alliance — which was involved in research at the Wuhan lab
• “Hundreds of thousands of meals that went to al Qaeda-affiliated fighters in Syria”
• Funding to print “personalized” contraceptives birth control devices in developing countries

Syria has been involved in a civil war since 2011 that resulted in a humanitarian crisis.
Through USAID, the U.S. Government spent more than $12 billion until 2020 to aid Syrian civilians affected by the war.
USAID-funded humanitarian assistance programs are administered by United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations. The funding in this case was intended for food and medical supplies.

USAID awarded $122 million to NGO-1 between January 2015 through November 2018. That money was intended for food kits for conflict-affected Syrian refugees.
Along with at least two co-conspirators, Al Hafyan directed food kits valued at millions of dollars to commanders leading ANF.
ANF’s primary objective was the overthrow of the regime of Syrian President Bashar al Assad.
