Obviously, Raul or Fidel can not put as many people in prison as their idols, Mao or Yossif could, not for lack of effort, but only by the limits of an oppressed population. That was what I meant by "pound for pound".
Obama IS sucking up to that wizened tyrant as shamelessly as no American President ever should. He probably banned photographers to take pictures of him kissing Raul's hand, and bowing to the picture of Fidel.
