Lawyers opened the trial of Ukrainian-born Parnas on Wednesday with plenty of talk about $1 million from a Russian financier who claims he and a colleague 'duped' him into breaking the law.

Mr Parnas is on trial for shovelling thousands of pounds of dirty money into trump and other gop funds. No doubt his supporters will be along soon to tell us it was all completely innocent.
