The Legacy of Evangelicals: Their Own Flawed Doctrine Helped a Right Wing Extremist Demagogue Win the White House Again

K. Sorry about that. But to get back to Evangelicals and Trump. Trump is a sociopath, a bad tree. And the Bible huffing yahoos who worship that piece of shit should know that a bad tree doesn't yield good fruit.
Anyhow, what the Bible huffers like about Trump is the bigotry, especially the racism and the cruelty that Trump brings to the table. And why not. All they gotta do is ask their imaginary friend for forgiveness in order to clear their conscience.

Racism? Cruelty? What are you talking about, Arlette? Give us some examples of Trump's racism and cruelty!

Truth hurts.
The "truth" is that if other reporters had been asking the tough questions like Peter Doucey then Joe Biden probably wouldn't have run for a second term and the Democrats probably would have had an open primary in which someone other than Kamala Harris probably would have been nominated! How bad does THAT truth hurt, Winston? :)

Lemme guess - someone white with a little mushroom between his legs.

You on the left just got asses handed to you, Arlette. Being "snarky" isn't going to change that! What it tells me is that you don't know what to do OTHER than be snarky and that doesn't bode well for the Democrats! :)

I take it that's a yes.

‘It's more than just ironic that the branch of American Christianity which touts itself as the "true church," criticizes mainline Protestants as "liberal," declares the Catholic church apostate by labelling the veneration of the saints as idolatry and claiming they "worship Mary," has more of its leaders and members than any other branch of Christianity bowing the knee to an unrepentant adulterous, womanizing, sexually assaulting, pathologically lying business fraud and cheat who openly denies their own version of Christian faith for himself, supporting him for President of the United States.
[…]
They've come up with some really convoluted, and outlandish excuses to try and disassociate themselves from his open moral bankruptcy that only make their heretical twisting of the Christian gospel, and the text of the Bible they claim is "inerrant and infallible," even worse. I've heard everything from, "I'm not voting for a pastor in chief, I'm voting for a commander in chief," to "Well, King David wasn't perfect either, and God still used him." These are fallacies that can't be reconciled to any legitimate, historical interpretation of the Bible, or practice of the Christian gospel. They look Christian, but there is no theological or doctrinal foundation to distinguish this intrusion of a licentious, ungodly intruder who perverts the word of God [see the book of Jude, verse 4].’

Trump committed treasonous, historic crimes: attempting to overturn a presidential election, disenfranchise millions of Americans, and disrupt the peaceful transfer of power.

For more than two hours Trump did nothing to stop the violent, lawless attack of the Capitol Building – an attack he himself incited.

There’s Trump’s disgraceful, reprehensible attempt to exploit fallen American soldiers for crass political theater.

We have Trump announcing his intent to subject his political opponents to criminal prosecution for the ‘crime’ of being his political opponents – which is fundamentally fascist.

For these and scores of other reasons, Trump is unfit to be president – beyond partisan politics, policy positions, and the issues.

Evangelicals share much of the blame for putting Trump – a racist, bigot, misogynist, sexual offender, criminal, and convicted felon – back in the WH.

They put a boot in your whiny ass.

I ask you to provide some examples of Trump's "racism" and "cruelty" and you respond by insulting my genitals and telling me to blow my nose. Is that the best you've got, Arlette? :)
That's all you deserve.

The problem is that you stated a number of lies.
There was no "attack" on the capital building, and the people should be able to take it over in protests when they feel it is necessary.
I personally do not feel there was significant voter fraud, but anyone who did was justified in more than just protesting.
And since the inauguration was still 2 weeks away, anyone saying it was an "attempt to over turn and election", is just lying.

The problem is the democrats on Congress ruined Trump's first administration with the 2 impeachments that were obviously lies.
The Russians had no influence on the election, and it is perfectly legal to have Zelensky investigate what Hunter Biden was doing with Burisma Holdings.

And not only is Trump NOT a "convicted criminal", but the charges against him are ridiculous.
The NY laws Bragg used are for scammers selling stocks by inflating their values with false profit entries.
Labeling hush money as "legal expenses" is perfectly legal.
And any president can give themselves or anyone, all the copies of any classified docs they want.
Nor is it legal for Jean Carroll to wait 25 years and then claim rape.

I am far left, progressive, liberal, but all the charges against Trump, including the impeachments, are themselves criminal and all those involved in pressing these ridiculous charges, should be in jail.

What I'm seeing from Arlette in this string is why people looking for common sense solutions to our problems are abandoning the Democratic Party in droves. You don't provide answers. You provide condescension.

I already told you a few days ago. It's because you smell like anchovies.
Over the internet? Sure, Arlette...

You make ridiculous statements and when you get called on them..."anchovies" are your go to! Sad...really sad!
