Scientists Get Buried In Snow At Davos While Lecturing On Global Warming
BUT BUT BUT Settled Science....
Climate scientists hope their mock camp illustrates how global warming could impact the Arctic, but the “
Gore effect” may make it harder to get the message across. Davos has seen frigid temperatures along with about six feet of snow in the last six days.
There was so much snow, authorities evacuated some neighborhoods due to avalanche concerns, CNBC
reported. Global elites headed to the conference had to force their way through heavy snow drifts
Sorry, but that is foolish because first of all, when cold Arctic air is blown further south than usual, it warms up in the Arctic. So Davos being cold, in no way implies we are not experiencing global warming. You are confusing local instantaneous weather with the sum total over distance and time.
And it has long been predicted that Europe always gets much colder during global warming, because the fresh water melt off from Greenland is lighter than the Gulf Stream, and causes the Gulf Stream to submerge and not warm up Europe.
Every look at how far north Europe is? It should be about 10 degrees colder, if not for the Gulf Stream.
So unusually cold weather is proof of global warming?
...
Absolutely.
Warming climate means more force to weather, and that means polar cold get pushed further towards the equator than ever before.
But you will notice the poles are warmer than ever, because their cold air has been blown away.
A Wrenching Choice for Alaska Towns in the Path of Climate Change
{... With its proximity to the Arctic, Alaska is warming about twice as fast as the rest of the United States and the state is heading for the warmest year on record. The government has identified at least 31 Alaskan towns and cities at imminent risk of destruction, with Shaktoolik ranking among the top four. Some villages,
climate changeexperts predict, will be uninhabitable by 2050, their residents joining a flow of climate refugees around the globe, in Bolivia, China, Niger and other countries. ...}
