Apparently the world has ended several times in recent history. So the people of The Lazurus Project go back in time over and over until they get it right and the world is saved through mostly small acts. The butterfly effect, I suppose.
The vehicle for their time travel is a singularity in space which no one else seems to have noticed.
I made it through seven and a half episodes of this eight-part series and arrived at the point where I just could not find a reason to keep going.
The premise is fun, but this show takes itself too seriously and just never quite gets off the ground.
Whether you like it may just a matter of taste.
