That brings up a question...... how would anyone know if something was wrong? I mean how many really know people personally on an open forum? I also post on a couple of local forums and know people personally there but ones like this one that is nation (or world wide) it would be hard unless you got to know the person and gave them personal information, and I find doing that a bit scary.

USA was one of the first people to welcome me when I became a member. I hope all is well with her. She is nice to everyone. Hard to find that on the net.

On another board I have a few friends that I actually know. First we started talking using Yahoo Messenger, we exchanged some information and now we actually send Christmas cards, etc. You should be careful but not terrorized when meeting people online.

Nope, unfortunately not.

I just remember her saying she had an old puter that was just barely hanging on and she was gonna try to fix it--maybe she took it in for an upgrade.

I hope so. Somebody else pointed out how we connect with people we have never seen on these forums. It is a shame that none of us actually have a number to contact her.

Often the users of these forums share willingness to offer phone numbers, etc, more than their family members; when I first got online my wife was a little skeerd - perhaps she is dealing w/ a similar situation? Pure speculation, I know.

A phone call may get her into trouble at home

I'll bet you're right Dillo.

I also remember her saying what you mentioned about the old puter having problems. It may have just died, and she has a transmission out too, so priority is...

Sorry I don't meet your English standards D. TUFF!

no...no...

I was answering 'Which is the priority, the car or the puter?'

Easy answer - the PUTER is more important :)

They don't have that medical neclace? You remember the commercial, "I've fallen, and I can't get up!"

We should all chip in and get them one.
