The Kirk “Shooter”

Not true. Even if he did, he changed clothes and I am sure he washed up over the next two days. Where do you think they would find any anyhow?

My limited understanding from watching cop shows it that during the course of a normal investigation they will swab your hands to see if you fired a weapon. They will also swab the screwdriver (that had the "shooters" DNA) for GSR

When they don't exist, and you pretend they do exist, it's a sign of non-existent critical thinking.
I haven't pretended anything. I'm anxiously waiting for all of the above.

I'm simply staying more rational while I wait.

Also, I'm adding your sock to my ignore list now, so have fun with your trolling paranoia with someone else.

...and you claim to be rational while you wait, buying into yet another false narrative promoted by known pathological liars. Whew!

So thats a fully assemble rifle wrapped in a towel?
Relevance?

WHAT WE CAN SEE IS A RIFLE wrapped in a towel.

Fully assembled or not.

You have yet to say what difference it makes, whether it was partially or fully disassembled at the point WE CAN SEE IT.

There would only be GSR on his screwdriver if he used it after he fired the rifle or it was somewhere near the muzzle of the weapon.

Why would he have GSR on his hands if they are three feet from the muzzle?

I don't think you know what GSR is and where it comes from.

Once again, my limited understand is that you don't need to have you hand in the vicinity of the muzzle flash to get GSR, simply holding a weapon that you fire will do it

Believe it or not.... you get it from a bolt action....... I looked it up before. I didn't think so either.

Well, that is your problem then. How does GSR get from the muzzle of the weapon back to your hands? You never see shows like CSI and others test for GSR if a rifle is used, do you? I can fire my rifle all day and have no GSR on my hands. Fire my semi-auto pistol once and it's covered.

If you never cycle the bolt, nothing escapes. That is why they are used for high powered rifles. Nothing escapes the firing chamber.

Besides, it was two days later when he was tested.

Conclusion: While some GSR may be deposited on the shooter’s hands, the combination of a single shot, a bolt-action rifle’s design, and outdoor conditions makes it less likely to be detectable, especially if time elapses or the shooter takes actions that remove residue. It’s possible but not certain.

What bugs me about the microphone "bullet" is the lack of an entry wound on the right side

There's literally nothing about this "assassination" that makes any sense, least of all the FBI explanation

Why didn't the microphone fly backwards, totally off his chest? You know, Newtons law?

What is wrong with the FBI explanation. You still haven't explained clearly because you don't seem to have the facts straight.

It can once the action is cycled apparently he didn't eject. Where did you hear he wasn't tested for GSR?

I've read he changed his clothes shortly after then I read he changed two days later.

GSR won't matter anyways.
