The Joys of Socialist Healthcare

Doctors are rich, and thus greedy, and usually a male

Therefore, why would patients want to be subjected to the corporatist Patriarchal profession?

They are all better off if you ask me.
I had a refreshing experience with healthcare yesterday after the socialist crap that we have all experienced in the last couple years. My doc in WA recently retired, but when I was treated by him, he was noticeably affected by WA's socialist policies in how he responded to my concerns even to the extent of avoiding my questions that did not agree with the government narrative of Jay Inslee. After my docs retirement, I sought care across the border in ID and the difference in care, across the board, was FAR SUPERIOR. My new doc spoke to me openly and candidly. The refreshing part was that MY health and well being seemed to take precedence over the political noise that we have all been experiencing. I may move to ID.

The biggest problem I have, politically, with socialized healthcare is that it's yet another thing to fight over. Majority rule shouldn't be applied to personal decisions.

That's GREAT!

My husband's doctor in Seattle was a great one who was massively frustrated by the changes in the system that prevented him from practicing the kind of medicine he had practiced his whole professional life. We really missed him when he died.

One thing I didn't contemplate quite thoroughly before I moved from WA State to South Dakota is that there are NO holistic practitioners in SD and I have to drive 135 miles into Minnesota (ick) to get the kind of care I'm accustomed to.
