The Issue Of The Land

Indeed, the idea of a nation state is a rather modern concept everywhere in the world. People's belonging was in smaller groups like cities, villages, tribes, or colonies.

That doesn't mean that Palestinians fell out of the sky in 1924. Those people had lived there for hundred even thousands of years. They are a mixture of all those who were there or who came and left over the centuries. Those are the ones who stayed and put down roots.

Why would Palestinians choose an identity that comes from Philistines who were Greek, known as Sea Peoples (Aegean Sea), and are long extinct? They don’t know how to use Google?

The Palestinians were never allowed to decide anything. The Allied Powers defined the international borders and named the new state, They called it Palestine because that was the common term for the area.

The word Palestine is actually Hebrew in origin, referring to Philistines who were Greek. Palestinian is a bullshit identity however they’re too fucking stupid to realize this. Jews are closer to being Palestinians since they actually inhabited the region when Philistines lived there. The Jewish Bible recorded the Philistines, such as Goliath who fought David.

So?

So, Jews are closer to being Palestinians, since ancient Israelites inhabited the area occupied by Philistines who gave the name Palestine to the area, as recorded in the Jewish Bible. Philistines originated from Caphtor, designating Crete a Greek island.

Why won't surrounding Arab countries allow a right of return for the Palestinians?

My family is from England, Scotland, and Germany.

Does that mean that I am not American?

Bosnian Palestinians—So, Muslims from Bosnia migrate a few years ago to Jews’ historic homeland and it becomes their land?

Palestinians have never been allowed to decide on an authentic identity throughout recorded human history? Oh, the poor dears—victimhood for 5,000+ years to today!

Palestine was the common Western term for what Jews called the land of Israel. Arabs, Muslims didn’t call anything Palestine until recently. The area was viewed as Syria, in Arabic Sham, and Palestine was simply southern Syria.

This item points out that in addition to Bosnians migrating to the area, migrants from Algeria, Morocco, Crimea, the Caucuses, and Turkestan in Asia migrated and became Palestinians. Not very indigenous…

Majority of Palestinians still reject both a two state & a one state solution to the conflict. And for as long as they want all of the land, Israel remains the winner.

Israel sits on unceded Palestinian territory.

Fakestinians didn’t exist until the 1960s. They have no territory.
Israeli bullshit, of course.

The automatic, ipso facto, change from Ottoman to Palestinian nationality was dealt with in Article 1, paragraph 1, of the Citizenship Order, which declared:
“Turkish subjects habitually resident in the territory of Palestine upon the 1st day of August, 1925, shall become Palestinian citizens.”

Eugene Rostow, former Dean of the Yale Law School and Undersecretary of State…

“The British Mandate recognized the right of the Jewish people to "close settlement" in the whole of the Mandated territory. It was provided that local conditions might require Great Britain to "postpone" or "withhold" Jewish settlement in what is now Jordan. This was done in 1922. But the Jewish right of settlement in Palestine west of the Jordan river, that is, in Israel, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, was made unassailable. That right has never been terminated and cannot be terminated except by a recognized peace between Israel and its neighbors. And perhaps not even then, in view of Article 80 of the U.N. Charter "the Palestine article," which provides that "nothing in the Charter shall be construed ... to alter in any manner the rights whatsoever of any states or any peoples or the terms of existing international instruments...."

He left out an important part. According to the Mandate, the Jewish National Home was Palestinian citizenship in Palestine. As Palestinian citizens, Jews could settle anywhere in Palestine. Still true. Palestinian citizens can settle anywhere in Palestine.
