Your comment had nothing to do with my point.has nothing to do with my comment you are trying to avoid,,,
then why did you make it??Your comment had nothing to do with my point.
You on the right are the fools, fools when it comes to those magical "tax cuts". First, the corporate tax cut. Oh yeah, the corporate tax cut was going to result in massive hiring, increased wages, and capital investment. It was even supposed to result in corporations pulling their money from those offshore accounts. None of those promised "results" panned out.You all are being played by the feel good slogans of the left.
The very people who write the tax code to collect taxes from the wealthy and corporations are the same exact people who turn around & give them carvouts and loopholes to escape paying. Then they go on the TV and whine like babies as they play you for the fools you apparently are.
They give you the WE MUST RAISE TAXES pitch as they give the wealthy their easy out....
You could of course stop supporting the very companies that pay little to nothing but you won't. You'll still buy Apple, Nike, GE and all other manner of their products. You lack principle
Because making a point is the reason to comment. You tried to deflect but I wont let you.then why did you make it??
other than to change the subject you were loosing on,,
how can I be the one deflecting when I made the first point??Because making a point is the reason to comment. You tried to deflect but I wont let you.
You didnt make a point. You deflected.how can I be the one deflecting when I made the first point??
you know, the one you avoided,,
when??You didnt make a point. You deflected.
When you said taxes are not part of capitalism. My point was that you didnt have to buy from someone raising their prices.when??
that was you deflection from my comment,,When you said taxes are not part of capitalism. My point was that you didnt have to buy from someone raising their prices.
That point seems to be that corporations and companies pass on tax increases to consumers. That might be true in a highly competitive economy, but the US, while once ranked among the most competitive economies in the world, has now almost slipped out of the top ten, thank you Donald Trump.how can I be the one deflecting when I made the first point??
you know, the one you avoided,,
That was an answer to your whine about the companies passing on the cost to you. There was no deflection. Only cold reality.that was you deflection from my comment,,
its OK,, I know thats all you have left,,
we started slipping long long before trump came along,, and at least he was working to bring companies back instead of promoting them leaving like joe and all the others are doingThat point seems to be that corporations and companies pass on tax increases to consumers. The U.S. economy has become less competitive in the last couple years. Here's why
The latest competitiveness rankings from the IMD business school in Switzerland show the U.S. dropping out of the top five for the first time in 31 years.fortune.com
so you agree they pass the cost on down the line,,That was an answer to your whine about the companies passing on the cost to you. There was no deflection. Only cold reality.
Of course they try to pass the cost on to the consumer.so you agree they pass the cost on down the line,,
see we can agree on things,,
I see you didn't read the link. Most of decrease in competitiveness over the last few years can be attributed to Trump's trade policies. His corporate tax cut resulted in increased rent-seeking, which is the polar opposite of "competition". And his cutting of regulations, one of the things you rabid Trumpbots crow about, resulted in large players being able to externalize their costs, stifle innovation, and create barriers to entry for would be competitors, all further decreasing competition. But I know, I might as well be speaking Klingon.we started slipping long long before trump came along,, and at least he was working to bring companies back instead of promoting them leaving like joe and all the others are doing
but you just said,,,Of course they try to pass the cost on to the consumer.
We dont agree. My point was that they are not raising taxes on anyone but the wealthy.
your link didnt take into account the last 50 yrs of erosion of our base,,,I see you didn't read the link. You're just confused or trying to deflect. It will be ok if you're confused.but you just said,,,
OH nevermind,, I know you will just run off in another direction,,
I'm neither,,You're just confused or trying to deflect. It will be ok if you're confused.
