On April 6, 2018, 16 people were killed and 13 were injured when a northbound coach bus was struck by a westbound semi-trailer truck that blew through a stop sign near Armley, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Paving of the Humboldt Broncos memorial site is slated for 2026​

On the 8th Anniversary of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash the Humboldt Broncos Memorials Committee says asphalt work for the parking lot and pathways tender has been awarded and will take place at the crash site this year. Phase 2 of the project will focus on a monument to honour the 16 who died in the bus crash and the 13 who survived with their lives forever changed.
