The hardest writing assignment I ever had.

She had a tough life, raised two boys as a single mom, worked two to three jobs as a waitress, was beaten and abused, but always seemed to be in good spirits for the most part.

Shatters’ post reminded me, I had forgotten, sorta.

This is on my Moms’ Headstone….

I have felt the crisp spring morning
And the hot summer noon
I have felt the cool fall evening
And the harsh winter night​

And now
I feel at peace in the Eternal warmth of God​
