I just had a lengthy conversation with a representative of the Green Party. Very refreshing, I wasn't pressured into supporting their pick (from what I understood as Obama). No name calling or disrespect. The only two issues I disagreed on, if you can call it that, were campaign finance reform (I'm not convinced this is constitutional) and universal health care (I'm not educated enough on the issue).
I liked the fact that they were upfront and understood that political differences are not always reasons to discount each other's opinions. It also made me realize that there is no real difference between Hillary and Obama aside from the shouting among Dems.
Overall, a class act. Not that I'm ready to send them any money, but I like the fact that there are still choices for at least local candidates.
