I don't know if it's a "greatest one hit wonder," but it certainly is up there, IMO.
I remember listening to it, quite often, on my folks, reel-to-reel, growing up.
This morning, they had the guitarist in the studio, at the local radio station, I had no idea that the band was from that Bay area, and from a city only twenty miles from where I grew up.
The whole hour interview was fascinating, and to hear this guy is still doing concerts, and writing songs for young singers at American Idol, after prostrate cancer all while he s in his 80's? Unbelievable.
