The great government health care option

Here is an idea for everybody that thinks the government health care option is a worthy idea.

How about if we let everybody either opt in or opt out of the government option.
If you opt in, then you get the plan, and pay accordingly, and participate accordingly.
If you opt out, then you keep doing what you are doing now.
Now, that's a choice I can live with. (No taxing the people that opt out, keep the taxes to the people that opt in)
