The Gist of the Democratic National Convention
Not many have been watching the virtual Democratic National Convention, not only because it has been a boring, amateurish production, but because you can’t learn much from the Potemkin Village version of the Democratic Party that is presented in the evening as the main attraction. Mark Dice has summed up what you probably didn’t bother to watch yesterday.

To learn what the Dems are really up to, watch the side attractions, like the Youth Council of the Democratic National Committee meeting where convention panelist Ashley McCray openly stated that the party’s objective is “the destruction of colonization, white supremacy, and capitalism.”

To translate, “colonization” = “Western Civilization”; “white supremacy” = “color-blind equality before the law”; and “capitalism” = “the economic freedom that allows a high standard of living.”

KEY POINTS:

• I was going to do a thread on it but never got around to it but someone fact checked the convention and found it a tissue of lies. Biden lied, Obama lied. Clinton lied. Biden even tried to take credit for the auto bailout which was actually created and started by Bush. What is the meaning of constantly calling Trump a liar in everything he says when your own party lies in everything they say and you're apparently OK with that?
• If Trump is really so bad as they constantly claim, why do they have to lie and make stuff up?
• If Trump was guilty of so much wrong, why would Biden pass on 6 debates instead of insisting on them for more time to expose all his flaws?
• One interesting stat I caught on a PBS wrap up on TV was that Nielsens showed that viewership of the convention was way down compared to four years ago! Where is all that interest in Biden?

I got a few things from watching the highlights. First, Biden got some teeth flashing lessons from that California dipshit, Gavin Newsome. And second, Democrats hate this country, especially workers, freedom, security, strength, capitalism and law and order. Democrats know Trump represents jobs, security, prosperity, freedom, the American dream and strength. They hate all those things even more than they hate Trump.

Oh jeez, where do I start? Trump IS a liar...and a cheat, and a fraud, and incompetent. But those of us that have followed him since the 80's already know this. But you loyal puppy dogs just keep chasing after him with your tongues wagging because he constantly throws you treats. Trump wants 6 debates because he's desperate. More chances to do his riffing and song and dance number and try to see if he can bully and intimidate Biden the way he did to Clinton. But no worries, I have a feeling it will only take one debate to dismantle Trump. After Biden's speech last night, Trump really does need to be worried. If I were him, I'd focus on next week and try to see if he can salvage what is shaping up at this moment to be rout of the Republican party in November.

But have no fear. The circus finally pulls into town on Monday night. This should be fun after a week of seeing what competent leadership could look like again. I am looking forward to Republicans pulling out all the stops. Let's see how low they can go. I don't think there is any floor for them anymore. I saw Pence on TV last night and his talking points were absolutely hollow. If scare tactics are what Republicans are going with next week, they are in big trouble.

Even with the help of teleprompters, BIDEN cannot hide his physical deterioration. The statements he reads sound like desperate attempts to show he can be a tough guy too, but at 77 years of age, he barely makes sense.
