The gasoline price panic

Gabbard testified they are getting stronger, not weaker, so no.

Or we could not be fighting Saudi Arabia's war. We are 7,000 miles away.
You know the Saudis control OPEC, right? Even countries that are not members cannot sell oil below or above the market price.

That libs swore by to cripple America by end of last week. And then requested their posts deleted when the panic ruse failed .
What are the gas prices in your area? Around DC generally $3.27 to $3.59. That’s up some but the bloom faded fast on the panic bush push
Went and bought 18 x-large eggs today, cost me $2.79. No matter what President Trump does, the democrats will rant and rave against him.

I drive 1,100 miles give or take every week in my personal truck for work.

Get paid mileage but these prices are fu**ing me to tears.

I bought five dozen for $4.99. I wonder why leftists aren’t crying on behalf of the farmers now that they are barely squeezing out a profit for eggs.

The point I'm making is OPEC didn't cut output for 2 years.
OPEC's deal with Trump isn't to blame for Biden's failures.
I know it is very painful for you to admit trumps failures, and then blame those failures are somebody else, in particular Joe Biden.
But....here are the facts about OPEC+

Big picture impact on U.S. gas prices

âś… What OPEC+ DID

  • Prevented oil from staying cheap after 2020
  • Contributed to 2021–2022 price surge
  • Supported higher price floor in 2023

âť— What OPEC+ DID NOT control alone

U.S. gas prices also depend on:

  • Domestic refining capacity
  • Seasonal demand (summer spikes)
  • U.S. shale production
  • Geopolitics (like Ukraine war)

🧠 Simple cause-and-effect

OPEC+ cuts supply
↓
Global oil prices rise
↓
U.S. gasoline prices increase

⚠️ Key takeaway

OPEC+ is one of the biggest external drivers of U.S. gas prices.

  • It doesn’t set gas prices directly
  • But by controlling global oil supply, it strongly influences the baseline price Americans pay

Lol… you love to regurgitate what leftist sites tell you. US can produce 50 million barrels a day and gas price still won’t go down. Why? Because the price is determine by the market and speculators are the cause. Big oil can sell their oil below market price but they know darn well that their stock price would crash.

If US sells a barrel for say $30, the Saudis will order drastic supply cut which leads to higher prices globally and will affect all consumers. I’ll let you draw out the ripple effects globally.

I drove 1400 miles on a trip last week. Highest cost I paid was $3.69. That's a buck and a half more than normal. I smiled when I paid my bill knowing that the mullahs are paying with their lives.

Leftists complain about high gas prices but refused to lower gas prices. :auiqs.jpg:
They know that high gas prices mean more money for them to loot.

If it were short lived, we wouldn’t be needing to be patient.

Something can be temporary and still require patience while it runs its course, but you knew that.

Nobody knows exactly what Putin thought but it’s clear he didn’t expect to be fighting the war four years later. Biden was quite effective at marshaling international coalition to assist without risking Americans.

And how many billions?

“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

The war could have been avoided with a more assertive, less feckless US President. After Afghanistan, the world knew that the Biden Administration was inept.

OPEC increased output in 2021 and 2022.

This will help lower gasoline prices as now instead of using the same old refineries that have been used for the past 50 years at 110% peak output, this new refinery will bring down prices while bringing up supply.

You can declare almost anything temporary if you really want. The issue is we don’t have any idea what the plan is, let alone the goal.

Funny, because you’re all for dropping tons of “cure” on Iran which could have been avoided with an ounce of prevention.

At least we aren’t going to have to listen to gibberish about a Nobel Peace prize again anytime soon.
