Those of us who are 60+ in age hopefully can still remember (if Joe Biden Disease hasn't already set in!) when the democrats actually made sense and wanted something better for America. They were the anti-establishment party, the anti-war party, the anti-elites party, and they actually gave a shit about the middle class. They weren't charismatic like Reagan, but they had great ideas and convictions yet lacked the right people to motivate the voters. Then they just gave up and started chasing Big Donors and capturing more power in the DC swamp. They embraced everything wrong that they hated and started saying "Show Me The Money!" Politics from 1992 to 2017 was just a war for who could command the swamp and the democraps eventually became the establishment party. And then an old school democrat took over the GOP.
