Democrats, liberals, and progressives never think things through. That is their greatest fault. They always believe that what they're doing will work when, in reality, it not only doesn't work but often makes things worse. Many liberal countries in Europe had wealth taxes and all those countries found out that wealth taxes don't work. Most countries have eliminated them and the remaining few who still have them have also found that the wealth tax does not work. So, time to move on to windfall profits taxes. No, apparently those don't work either.
