Does it only matter when a democrat is getting the boot or what? What is truly classified as a threat to democracy? Not like we have one btw as we have a republic, but I'm talking to the democrats here.

The issue with Carlson getting fired is different than Kimmel being suspended.

The network under their own pressure fired Carlson.

ABC suspended Kimmel after a podcast where the chairman of the FCC made an indirect threat to ABC. I have no problem with Kimmel being fired if ABC did it on their own, but if it was a response to the FCC threat? Then there is a constitutional issue.

If Kimmel had good ratings, they wouldn't have suspended him. His show was sucking before any backlash occurred.
It was the local stations standing firm that refused to air Kimmel that forced his removal.
Late night comedic enjoyment was replaced by being lectured and belittled by the left. And we turned it off...
