They weren't worried about being fired...they were worried about the reputation of the FBI being as bad as it's EVER been! The rank and file knew that leadership in Washington was totally corrupt and making THEM look bad with things like the Mar A Lago raid and Crossfire Hurricane! Kash Patel's number one job is to get rid of the people in the FBI that allowed it to be corrupted and used for politics instead of fighting crime. The only people who are worried about THAT are the people who allowed it to happen!
