I tend to think if you are afraid of angry crowds, you shouldn't be in the FBI...( get a typing job or something).

I was using that diaper mention as an example. I was meaning that if there hasn't been the appropriate form of grown from those people in the last five years, get rid of them, but if there has been a sufficient amount of the right kind of change in them, they should be allowed to keep their jobs.

I disagree.

Again, an agency like the FBI, which has great power over US citizens (probably too much in the last admin... ), should not be taking sides or even appearing to do so.

They went against their Code of Ethics, I am sure. It would be a grave mistake not to have in supposed Code

In your work here at the FBI, you cannot show favoritism or take sides
