The politicians of the left are not far left, they are full blown, money hungry capitalists. When was the last time a democrap politician gave away their excess money to the poor and needy? Did Sanders and AOC take the bus with the people they pretend to serve, or did they fly around the country in a private jet while telling the poor and needy that they will take care of them? What is called extreme left on some things are common sense. And the rights extremism goes into exaggerating the things the so-called left stands for. Support for individual freedom of expression is not the same thing as the claim the right makes about how the left supports turning everybody into transgendered people, wanting men to compete in women's sports, or wanting men to be able to go into women's bathrooms. This is how the extreme right twists a pretty much centrist position into something it is not. The same thing is done to climate change, race, the economy, the role of government, law enforcement, etc.
