Just like in California, New York City's high tax economic policies are turning the city into a banana republic where a large dependent underclass is ruled by a minority of wealthy elitists. The middle class is fleeing.

Perhaps not so expected, is that Saudi Arabia is up there in low Tax Revenues, and they're waging a Terror Famine upon Yemen, so absolutely low Tax nations, can cause genocides too.

The big problem is that NY, IL and believe it or don't CA are so dependent the capital markets and trade with the failing EU/China to keep their heads above water a global slowdown will cause a failure of their one party systems of state government and create huge problems that will look a lot like a banana republic in those areas.

I suspect that being in the middle of a terror famine is still better than being in some western tax prison.
