I agree with the sentiment that we don't have a problem with their citizens. Many are indoctrinated, as they are in N Korea, but you can be sure there are a great number who have little interest in the communist parties centralized system of control and abuse.

Tiananmen Square occurred during the lifetime of many citizens, and/or their parents or even grandparents. The government may suppress it but the thirst for knowledge is a human trait. There is enough distrust and sober views of their system for citizens to want liberty.

The Communist Party in China, like all communist governments, need to rule with an iron first, fear and abuse. We can't keep freely trading with them, arming them and expecting they won't push hard to control our lives as well.
