40 years ago Republican candidate Ronald Reagan asked the nation an important question:

Are you better off than you were 4 years ago??

At the time the answer was "No".... Though he was an honest and likable guy, Jimmy Carter wasn't much of a President, and the economy was struggling. This question enabled Reagan to become the 40th President. Fast forward to 2020 and that question is still valid: Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?? If you're honest, the answer is "No"

When Donald Trump took office in 2017 the American economy was in good shape, there were no major military threats, and illegal border crossings were at historic lows. Today the unemployment rate is over 8%, farmers are losing their farms at a record pace, the much promised manufacturing jobs have never materialized, and millions of people have been stripped of badly needed healthcare coverage. No - we're not better off at all.

Trump supporters can attack the Liberals, Socialism, the mail, the deep state, Kamala Harris, the mainstream media, and all your usual enemies, as well as try to gerrymander the election, but it's not going to work. Americans are worse off than they were 4 years ago, and because of this Trump and Co. are going to lose.

Those are the facts Jack - Just the facts! :bye1:

The economy wasn’t in good shape four years ago. Maybe you can’t remember that far back, but many people can.

Prior to Covid, the economy was booming, unemployment percentages were at record lows, treaties were being renegotiated in ways that favored the USA rather than other countries; and to use a favorite phrase of the democrats, our allies were being told they had to “pay their fair share” of the costs of their defense. I was dubious about a Trump as president, but I figured we could survive a term of anyone without serious damage to our system. It’s designed to be resistant to damage in the long term. Much to my surprise, despite his inane twitter posts and hyperbolic public statements,Trump has turned out to be a better than average president when his actions are viewed rather than his words listened to. I read somewhere that hyperbole is Donald Trump’s native tongue rather than English. The statement seems to fit.
For some reason, the democrats seem to have picked a ticket doomed to fail. Off hand I can’t think of two people less likely for the average American to support than Joe Biden (a career politician) and Kamala Harris (an explosively fast rising politician who seems to have no core beliefs at all). Their whole message seems to be “vote for us we aren’t Trump/Pence.
The economy was in good shape 4 years ago. And that was accomplished during 2 pandemics. H1N1 and Ebola. trump is is a sorry president, but a great bullshitter.

The problem, Bill, is that the "Trump will lose because he should lose" threads didn't work out so well in 2016.

This isn't a time of logic or reason. It's time of anger and division. That's what got him elected in the first place.

I have no idea who's going to win, but basing electoral predictions on reason and logic may not work out, again.
Yup. Before Covid the country was in great shape.

UE was the lowest it had been in 50 years and we had jobs all across this country. We had a great economy with Trump at the help.

Trump will lose?? Not likely cause voters know just what great shape this country was in before Covid and they know we need Trump at the helm to get that great shape back.
Actually, people are in bad shape now.... It doesn't matter what shit was like last year.

Trump was badly trailing Biden before Covid Hit... Now we have Covid, Recession, Riots, burning forests... no one is going to reward him for that.
The Republican Party is on the verge of losing control of the Senate because of their asskissing of Trump. The party is worse off than it was 4 years ago. Trump must go so that the party can have a rebirth.
Trump was hired by America’s best citizens to protect, preserve and restore American virtue, he was hired to spend his days verbally bitchslapping the living shit out of Leftist filth and shaming the disgusting fucks into submission and THAT’S IT!
Nobody gives two shits about the economy right now...we want our nation back from the enemy...THE LEFT.

He was not hired by America's best as he lost the popular vote. He has failed. He has showed no signs of fiscal conservatism.
There was no popular vote to win or lose.
Someone shoud take you aside and explain how we elect Presidents, before you get blindsided again.
More AMERICANS voted for someone else. We're well aware of the fact that more electoral voters voted for Trump.

Haha...”AMERICAN” is a behavioral thing, it has little to do with the soil one is standing on....the sooner you realize that the better off you’ll be.
Irony. Meter. Esplode. :auiqs.jpg: It's like your ideology changes by the week.
My ideology for what makes someone American has never changed.
The Antifa / BLM pieces of shit are perfect examples....I'm sure most were born in America, none however are AMERICAN.

Those who voted for Trump were/are prepared to put economics on hold
And human lives, and constitutional limits, etc. It's very clear that your toxic attitude is your driving force. Emboldened by ignorance.
Pretty much...you Leftist pukes have created a monster. That "FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE AMERICA" bullshit backfired big-time on you didn't it?
We have given Trump complete carte blanche to smash you dirty fucks BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

It other words, its about protecting white privilege and prestige, not the economy and conservative principles.

Nobody cares about the economy? Partisanship is more important? Yeah, you're definitely a Cult45 True Believer. Not a conservative, and a RINO.
Those who voted for Trump were/are prepared to put economics on hold...The paramount objectives are.....destroying the Left, saving America...protecting, preserving and restoring American virtue. There's really no other reason for America's Best to elect a billionaire game show host.

It other words, its about protecting white privilege and prestige, not the economy and conservative principles.

America has never had true virtue. We were born here so we have the right to demand equality based on the constitution. Not the constitution as you believe it to be, not equality as you decide. So if you don't like it move back to Europe.

On April 1, 1922 my father was born in Gilbert Louisiana. On August 10, 1925 my mother was born in Harlan Kentucky. On February 25, 1961 I was born in Saint Francis Hospital in Topeka Kansas. I am an American. I don’t have to go back to anything but Saint Francis Hospital. However, I will put off that return since I am fairly healthy.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

First Amendment, United States Constitution

This amendment allows ALL who live here, ALL who visit, the right to speak freely. It allows everyone to PEACEFULLY assemble and to air our grievances or opposition to government law, policies or officials. There is no love it or leave it clause in our constitution. There is no go back where you came from amendment either. The concept of “E Pluribus Unum” eradicates any claim of how this country belongs to one race of people.

So to the whites who have lived their lives errantly believing this country belongs to you here is a quote from the great Chief Seattle: “Man belongs to the Earth, Earth does not belong to man” This country was never yours. The people who are travelling up here from what is now South and Central America are taking the same trek their ancestors did before Europeans showed up. The repo man has come for the property that was stolen. To quote the great Muddy Waters, “You can’t spend what you ain’t got, and you can’t lose something that you ain’t never had.”

Why?
Because he was not elected for his economic policies....He was elected to squash the Left, to chase wetbacks out, to FORCE societal change, to see to it that Americans are put first and to Make America American Again. If you think otherwise, you haven’t been paying attention.
No he was not. He was elected because he was not Clinton. You are the one who is not paying attention or refuse to face facts. For example, a majority of voters who voted opposed building a wall. Voters disapprove of Trump's border and immigration policies.

:bye1:
40 years ago Republican candidate Ronald Reagan asked the nation an important question:

Are you better off than you were 4 years ago??

At the time the answer was "No".... Though he was an honest and likable guy, Jimmy Carter wasn't much of a President, and the economy was struggling. This question enabled Reagan to become the 40th President. Fast forward to 2020 and that question is still valid: Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?? If you're honest, the answer is "No"

"Privilege"?
Nope...it's about preserving, protecting and restoring American virtue.
You know, all those reasons you never bought a one way ticket to Africa to live that amazing life you were deprived of.

In other words white values, WHITENESS.
Is that how you feel, do you think "WHITENESS" is what sums up "American Virtue"?
You believe that .
