The great Christian conservative family, the Duggars (19 Kids and Counting) will be welcoming their 25the grandchild late this summer.

This is truly a great legacy for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. "Grandchildren are the crowning achievement of old age". They did everything right, having a clear plan from the start , being hyper organized and lovingly raising 19 great kids. The kids were given responsibility and tasks at an early age. They learned discipline, organization, and team work, and as a result were mature enough and moral enough to get underway with their own lives at a young age, marry, and start families. Not only was there no sex before marriage, there was no handholding allowed until engagement, and the parents chaperoned the dates. If it seems tough, just look at the outstanding results!. Strong marriages, strong families.

This is a model for today's youth who piss away the days on video games, shacking up, having random sex, being directionless, and just generally wasting their lives. To the modern secular young people, having kids as too serious a burden: abortion, the solution. Not to the Duggars, whose mission is to raise many productive loving contributing children. And they're just getting warmed up. Only about half are of marrying age. There could be 50 grandchildren or more!

I admire everything about this great clan. The only thing that could be better is if they were Catholic. Imagine the fun at Christmastime!

Quite the legacy! Such role models!

All families will have a hiccup or two. A family with 19 kids is certain to have an issue here and there. But why not celebrate the solid citiizens most of these kids have become instead of focusing on the one problem and pretending like it taints the entire family and everything they stand for?

He molested his sisters. 4 of them plus a babysitter and his sick parents knew all about it.
I don't condemn a curious pre-adolescent for things he did at 14. So you indict all 19 kids for the actions of one? You don't give the Duggars credit for raising so many great kids?

Your children don't know better at 14?

You don't think 14-year-olds do ill-advised things? The lad was curious. It was a phase, not to be repeated. So you won't credit the family for the overall great kids they gave society?
