Righties be crazy.
This round was easily set up for the gop . Dems made gains in normally deep red places . Arizona hadnt elected a dem to an open senate seat in over 40 years .
Yes, we know Dems ramped up their buying criminal illegal aliens and got them to the polls in big numbers this year. No surprises there except in how poorly they did overall, and with two years of complete asshatery and corruption exposes to go, they're certainly not going to get the White House or the Senate back, and their antics will lose them many seats in the House in 2020 as well.
And yet they still lost seats in the Senate....strange that the Dems did all of that and still lost seats. Either that or you're a total moron. I'm guessing the latter.
They won many more seats in the House. Losing 3 seats in the Senate is far outweighed by the gain of the house. You can keep bringing up the pittance but the grand prize was the balance of the Congress. If the Senate keeps operating like it has, it may not get as lucky the next time around. Either they get to work or we need to show them the door.
It means you will lose more seats in the 2020 election than you gained in this one, is what the patterns show. Trump has done far better than Obama did as President, despite the media dishonesty and all the lying to dumbasses Democrats rely on. Now with your House 'majority', Bug Eyes Pelosi is already doing her best to hand it back to the GOP, and she isn't even Speaker again yet. lol
As long as the House is Dem and the Senate is Rep, we all win. Most of the really nasty things have happened when one party controlled all three branches. It let the fringe nutcases run amuck. And it didn't matter if it was the Reps or the Dems. You see, I am neither. I am an independent. People like me are YOUR worst nightmare. People like you are OUR worst nightmare.
Rest assured, Cory Gardner from Colorado will be back running that John Deer after 2020 like he did before he was elected to the Senate. If Johnston doesn't test well, they might talk Hickenlooper into running against him and Gardner is toast at that point. Hick may someday be President so he's going to be a rough one to run against. The only reason he still isn't Governor is that he term limited. BTW, while there was a Blue Ripple across the US, there was a Blue Tsunami here in Colorado. The voter is fed up with the Reps and extremely fed up with Trump. Gardner may say he hasn't totally embraced Trump but he has and that is going to be his undoing. In the Midwest, look for more of this to happen. There is a good chance that those 3 seats gained in the Senate may turn into a 7 seat loss in 2020. And you had better pray to whatever pagan deity you worship (probably a phallic symbol of an AR-15) that Biden doesn't run.
